It shouldn't be a problem b/c other ppl here on the forum has used it.

 

Got mine in the mail today, had it cut for $2.35 and programmed in 30 seconds woo hoo!

I haven't seen an 09 key but I don't see why your couldn't use it. Check your manual first to make sure that you can program keys b/c the buttons will need to be programmed and you will need both set of your keys to do it. Also why bid on the key when you can use the buy it now option and buy one. You can also buy one that has three buttons like our keys already do, well at least the 04-08 models do.

By the way I received my key but I haven't had it cut yet.

Ok, so let me see if i got this straight. You have to have two keys in order to prgram the fusion key? I only have one key(with unlock button). So can I just go have a key cut and then do the fusion key upgrade? Or do I have to go to ford and get a whole key with remote programmer thing?

Anyone using the Fusion (non Ford) Flip Out key?

 

My Fusion Key just came in the mail and I tried to program the lock/unlock panic feature and it will not work. Any ideas! It is not cut yet I was trying to see if the key features would work.NOTHING I changed the battery with a new one. I bought it off Ebay. I guessing the frequencies are different. Please Help!

 

Did it come with instructions? If not the programming features should be in your manual.

 

It did not come with instructions. I did use the F150 owners manual. Turn the key 8 times from off to no the truck locks actuate then I push the key fob and nothing.

 

I have a Fusion key for my Mustang. I had programmed it to my 2008 Expy first to test it though. Worked just fine in the Expy, and now my Stang


did you try the programming procedure several times? the Fusion key works in all 2004+ F-150's that people have tried so far.
