Here is my latest mod! Wrecked!

Well, as you can see I made the worst mod of all! Good thing I was in this truck and not a car! An 18 wheeler turned right in front of me at an intersection and I hit it head on going about 35mph. I escaped with only some airbag burns on my hands and arms, some bumps and bruises, and very sore/stiff the next day. Hopefully I find out if it is a total loss today. Well, I guess I will either post the repaired truck or a new f150 soon. Chat later!

man thats a pretty unique mod- sorry bout that man- just read your other post- at least you walked out of it in good shape considering.

hey tmd07 do us all a favor- go to your User CP then go to Edit Profile scroll to the very bottom your gallery number is 7812 then you can have a camera up by your name which goes to your gallery so we dont have to jump thru hoops to see the carnage...

Yeah, I feel your pain. I had that 'mod' earlier this year. Although not as bad (cosmetically) as your looks, mine still cost ~$6000 to fix.

That sucks but at least you made it out okay and can get a new one to replace it. You can always replace a truck but not a life looks like the truck did its job on protecting you durrring the wreck.

You should send these photos to Ford. This truck has a 5 star frontal crash rating from the insurance institute, and I am very glad for that. I don't think a Chevy or Dodge would have done as well. They don't have the framing in the front like Fords do.

Glad to hear you are doing okay.

Yup, that's totalled. You wouldn't want it back, anyway. They're never the same after a crash... Glad you came out OK. Piece of advice: If you're gonna get a lawyer, no more talking about the crash with anyone, especially here, until after the case is settled.

Yeah, those mods suck. But I'll go out on a limb and say they'll fix her. but without looking under all that smashed metal it's hard to tell. This girl I know crashed her truck & they put a whole new frame under it. Nowadays it's kinda hard to total one. But whatever comes out of it, glad ya came out ok!!

That really sucks man! I am really impressed though! The passenger compartment held up perfectly! They definately did thier homework when designing these trucks. The previous generation wouldn't have held up that well. I have seen steering columns go right into the seat back! I am glad to see that the cabs hold up that well!
