Edge vs. TP Xcal2 acceleration times

I STILL can't beat that stupid lowered stock Chevy (flowmaster exhaust only). I am extremely disappointed in hearing all this.
The weight difference is a little more because his is a 2wd and yours is a 4wd.

Are you sure the Chevy is stock? Your still probably a few hundred pounds heavier than he is.

Is that your truck in the sig ? You have got to be kidding.....look at all of the weight with the lift, roll bars, lights, wheels and tires.......oh I almost forgot the racing stripes too....
Dude, your aero-dynamics are just, well... not up to snuff.
No flame intended but there is probably a whole myriad of differences here. It's not a Ford is a Ford type of thing. They are completely different beasts..
Lose some weight (alot), get different gears or go stock tire size, then lose a Chevy.
Just reread the post "LOWERED" stock would indicate not stock. No telling what else isn't.

0-60 6.5 sec
1/4 mile 14.9 @ 93mph
Edge best:
0-60 7.5 sec
1/4 mile 15.7 @ 87 mph
Overall the Edge provides pretty good gains over stock, but on it's highest setting is only as fast as my TP 87 octane tune. If you really want/need the gauges get the Edge, if you want the best performance get the Xcal2.

Wait this chip will let a stock 5.4 3v f150 do 0-60 in 6.5 secs?
That is a photoshopped truck I made in my sig, my truck is similar but in stock form
As for weight differences, there have been people claiming of high 6 second 0-60 times and they were 4x4 but supercab. The weight difference is only a couple hundred pounds from my Supercrew. Those couple hundred pounds are not the deciding factor. I agree hwm3, it's probably the timing we are using but it's still a bit off. Regardless, before e-fans, intake and the tuner I would lose by ONLY a car length to the chevy, the improvement from all three mods are pathetic, I am still losing by quite a bit. There was and is no wheelspin off the line from either of us. Take the advertised gains with a grain of salt, in my case I am not much quicker than I apparently was. Must have been a sotp difference. The XCal2 did not provide much of a performance gain in my case, my truck is an early build F150 but I've had no reflash, TP and I are working on datalogs but I'm not sure much else can be done. I do not consider the XCal2 to be my best mod. The only performance gains are the slightly firmer shifts (shifting is not quicker, just knocks you forward a bit when it pops into gear) and the slightly higher RPM shifts. If these are the gains everyone else is so amazed with, I am anything but pleased.

Who deleted the information that quoted Troyer's information on RPM's and shift points, etc.
I am not adding to the debate, I will say however that there is simply Troyer Bias on this website. ANYONE with a brain would be able to see that. With that said the company is a sponsor and has given GREAT results to many. I have talked to them and there customer service is some of the best out there.
I will be honest and say I will be using the afore mentioned information to tune my Edge that I received Friday. Also, the above-mentioned sponsorship may be why the information was edited. I personally bought the edge due to the price point with the group buy. I also like the access to the 4 gauges it gives you in a simple, clean, one pod design.
I would imagine Troyer's tuner is better just for the simple fact that the edge has to "INITIALLY" fit all F150's from mile high stadium to New Orleans. Troyer goes to great length to set the tune that matches your driving habits and area of location. Do I think he writes a new tune EVER single time a person orders, I would say no, BUT there is a 6 week wait implying some sort of drawn out process is taking place, ie: every tune is individual.
These are just my worthless 2'c. I would however like someone to put back the information or e-mail it to me because there are literally thousands of troyer posts to look through to find that info and I don't have time.
Thank you if anyone helps me out!!!

I did go out and change shift point before I went out to "Lunch". I also changed to 95 octane since I am running 94 Sunoco. Wow, fun times.
Sorry, no "official times" but it is just a lot funner (yes thats a word).
EDIT: My egregious vocabulary is duly noted.

Sigh, more misinformation I see.
If troyer provided nothing more than a canned tune, it would not take 14 days to get the programmer from troyer.
The wait is due to the fact that each and every programmer ordered is loaded with custom programs depending on the individual computer code and individual mods.
After datalogging is done and sent to troyer the programs are then readjusted if need be.
There is nothing canned about it, and if you believe that then give Troyer a call instead of believing the nonsense posted here.
