That's just it, with climate control we don't get hot/cold. The temp is just right all the time.

well that's cool, but I change my clothes. SO having it set at one temperature may be too hot or cold for what I'm wearing that day. Or it may be bitterly cold out side so I want a nice hot blast of air to warm up fast. Which you can adjust for, but that would technically defeat the purpose of you automatic climate control. Climate control is nice for real long road trips, but that's what I have a commuter car for. Savings on the gas far outways the auto-climate option in the truck.

The only option that pissed me off on the lariat between the lariat and FX4 is the heated seats. I can see from being on this board that the type of people who own lariats need to have heated seats. But why isn't an option with any truck that can have leather? Though It is only about $100 to add it. Much cheapier then the factory option. Plus I have the ablility for the truck to automatically turn on the Low setting when I remote start the beatch up (provided it was on when I shut the truck off). So I saved a bit, and added an option to the remote start.

And why did they skimp on the grill on the lariat? Looks like the gave the FX4 the better grill but took away the heated seat option. Stupid ford.

That and so they can have one option to add to the list of non-fx4 options. Gives something to brag about. Though Adding it myself selfed me a ton. Just like Geico.

Later. Get to leave early from work today. Have a good weekend everyone.

It means the same thing that "Z71" or "Z85" or whatever to those Chebby boyze.

Not a damn thing. I like the looks of the FX4 personally, but I don't need 4WD, and the grill and wheels would look out of place on a 2WD pickup IMO.

My 2 pennies.

I don't know if this has been said yet (7 pages is a lot to go through) but FX4 stands for:

Four by Four

or

Four X Four

or

F X F

or

4 X 4

or

F X 4

or

FX-4

Don't forget about your beloved Lariat and it's FAUX leather back seat.

You Lariat goons crack me up. Why not step up to the plate and buy the King Ranch before you dog on FX4's. At least they have a REAL leather back seat too.

My father in law bought a Lariat. It's no more plush then my FX4. My truck's ride is just barely stiffer than his. His instrument cluster is butt ugly.

Notice how much the FX4 cluster goes for on eBay, and then look how much a Lariat cluster goes for. You practically can't even give the Lariat junk away.

Really, I don't have a problem with you all having Lariats. I just think it's funny that you think your ugly pig is better then my pig. Get a KR, and then maybe you'll have something intelligent to argue about.

Alright there buddy.....back it up....

A King Ranch is nothing more than a Lariat with an expensive accessory pack. (Which by the way I love)

Can't get a FX4 with that package.

And who says we have to have an intelligent argument with FX3 1/2 owners....we are trying to make it easy for you to understand.

Well, a Lariat is nothing more than an XLT with an expensive accessory pack. Your point was?

Can't get a FX4 with that package.
That's not a bad thing. Why advertise you're a "Lazy A** Redneck In A Truck" .

And who says we have to have an intelligent argument...
That says it all right there.
