So you're telling me you can get an 06 FX4 with EATC and heated seats?

If that's true I know what truck I'm getting when my lease is up this fall.

:)

This was an amusing thread

I like both trucks....but I prefer the XLT! I've always bought XLTs. They have what you need (power windows, locks, mirrors), the big motor, and cloth seats, which I much prefer over leather. Plus, when you work at McDonalds like I do, you can't afford all that fancy stuff LOL.

I remember those, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the Eddie Bauer above the Lariat before they did away with it?
84 was the first year for the Eddie Bauer on the Bronco II. Didn't show up in the full sizes till the next body style when the EB was a step up from the XLT Lariat. At the next body style in 92, EB replaced the Lariat trim. Then in 97 EB was dropped in the pickups with the return of the Lariat trim level.

I can't speak for everyone else but I'm just having a little fun trying to stir things. I own a Lariat but seriously considered the FX4 before I made my decision.

With that said...LARIATS RULE!!!

if you want a good offroading truck, buy an XL 4x4, save yourself about 15 grand (or more) and spend that money where it counts

(tires, lift kit, etc.)

neither one of these (FX4, lariat) are contenders offroad

or buy an F250, and get a better starting point

What could a V6 Mustang owner possibly say to razz up even an owner of the crappy 2V 4.6 owners?

Granted, if you dropped one off a cliff, it would accelerate faster than a Cobra or Mach I...

Just trying to provide a value add service. Considering it was posted at count #144

I try to keep an update, once we hit post # 288 for the topic

Another useful thing, it to expand the number of posts per page, I only show 5 pages for the thread. This is the user CP page. I have mine set at 40 posts per page per thread.

Same here as well. It came down between a red FX4 and my Lariat but I chose the Lariat because of re-sale and I always thought a new Arizona Beige F-150 would look awesome lifted. It'd give it that classy but ruged look, which is exactly what I was going for.

. . at least were not driving a Titan.
