My XL has you all beat if its cold I put on a jacket, too hot and I open the window, spill my beverage and I hose it out. Plus I have the ever so classy steel wheels, but I do love her.

Climate control? What in god's name do you need that for? if you hot turn on the a/c, if you cold then turn on the heat. Just more electronic shi*t to burn out/break. Never really bothered me having to touch the **** maybe once or twice on my 30 minute commute. I wouldn't give up the option for the flairside just to have a lazy man climate control, and that stupid gauge that tells you just how bad you mpg's are.... OH WAIT YOU HAVE THAT CRAP. sorry.

I do have to say that the resell value on the lariat is more. But then again, I wouldn't have ordered any truck if I was concerned about the resell. Why buy anything if you are going to be worried about it holding it's value. I plan on having mine until it dies.

I do want the temp in/out readout. But I'm going to add it to mine. I'm thinking maybe either in an overhead compartment or by the radio. Not to sure yet. But since most of the LCD panels with sensors are about $15 it will be better to add aftermarket anyway. I want nothing to do with seeing what mpg I get. Just need my fuel gauge to know when I'm starting to run low.

To fit in with the dumb *** argument on which option package is better, FX4 is deffinetaly a much better sounding name compared to Lariat. Should have just called the Lariat, the Lasso. Either way it's Mexican

I'm not familiar with the heritage. I only know the lariat and the FX4 because I was comparing the two. I went FX4 because I wanted flairside. And the only things the Lariat had that I couldn't get with the FX4 were kind of gay, So I went with the FX4 and left out the power pedals. I don't believe the Heritage is an trim package on the F150 though. I think that is an actual model. To the point to where you could actually say, the heritage is better then your FX4 or Larait. Not positive on that though. And I do have to say that the king ranch is pretty damn sweet. I am going to have to pick up a set of their mirrors one day.

Looking through my brochures and crap here, I don't even see the Heritage. Weird. I have most of the 05 F150 brochures from when I was deciding.

I'm just messing with you guys crudeau.

2004 was the last year FORD made the Heritage. You can check my gallery out to see it. I am one of the few on here with one.

They are great trucks. I haven't had one MAJOR problem.

sharp looking truck. But I noticed when I'm looking at aftermarkets parts and it says 04/05 it usually says doesn't fit Heritage model. So what is the heritage? To me it sounds like more of a difference then just trim options.

Heritage is basically left over models of the last generation of F-150s.

The heritage is the 03 body style that they finished off in 04.

ic, that's why it says won't fit heritage model. Because it's actually an 03. Also the reason why there is old body style and new body style when referrencing to the 04's.
