Strolling arond the dealership today while they changed oil and had a thought...

If you don't have a moon roof, why not change out the insert for the power sliding rear window on the overhead to the one that had the window and the moon roof?

Would give you a built in look and keep it handy!

Curiosity killed the cat. Just wondering, did all hope for getting this to work with the factory switch and wiring die?

Unhappy

I'm still thinking about it, but between getting the youngest kid off to collage ( now were kid free !! ) and the price of gas, most of the mods are on hold. Not to mention the price of gas. Looks like I'm going to be using her Focus to run service calls for a while and let her drive the F150 on her short runs to the bank.

A few of us are still working on it we recently got part numbers from Tun2one however the PFM module is on national back order and the wireharness / Pigtail has no number @ all from what we can find. The pigtail for the module given as do not buy is from a 2003 ford from what we have been told. However we are still working on the stock setup.

What we need is the location of each wire in the plug that goes to the relay, and now that the seat has been put back we are back to square one unless he has some good photos of the plug layout with the wires shown. That's all we need to make this work.

He emailed me and asked if they helped I explained to him what we needed we arent totally scewed yet. I think the pic is good enough to tell what goes where and I now have 2 of the back ordered / Not made anymore relays on order. So we will be ok I think. Might help to find out if ford has a replacement part / part number for this one. Keep the faith

Cool, your right on the ball. I hope you get some good pics, if we just had one of the back of the plug that would work.

Wow, lot's going on. The "eurika!" moment is going to be very rewarding for someone on this one. I hear ya'll about the gas prices. They went up an average of $.55/gallon here in SC just today. I'm driving slow and just enjoying the ride.

The relay for this is on backorder, 1-2 months and we need the wire location for the relay. We will keep all informed.

I just got my replacement PFM relay, the first one was bad. I have no clue when I can finish this up due to the fact I broke my arm last week, It's hard to work with one hand.

Well I got some help pulling the dash apart and I went to work on this PFM project. I have a new relay (second one) once more I hooked it all up as per the FORD wire diagrams and bam! blew another fuse and the relay, I guess the first one was not bad after all. Until we get the correct info on where these dam wires really go on the relay, this project is DEAD. That's $33.00 in relays so far, I know someone took pictures (and I thank you)of the harness but we need to see the wires in relation to the relay plug.

If we don't get pictures before I get my relay (been on back order FOREVER) I will trace the wires back and figure what goes where.
