Holy detailed install instructions, Batman!!!! You really went out of your way to help the people that would want to do this. I never considered doing it, but now with the detailed parts list and instructions, it's got me thinking. Thanks!

Thumbs up

Wow, that is a very impressive piece of work - you guys can be proud of this. I wish all mods came with instructions like that! Congratulations and thanks!

While I do not feel the need to apply this mod to my truck (my garage doors are 10' wide), I would be very interested in purchasing the factory installed power/signal/heated mirrors that anyone may replace in order to install this mod. Just send me a PM...

Brad - Beautiful job! I would have never attempted this mod on my own and I am really impressed with what you did and the great install instructions that you developed. I'll copy them and pass them on to my installer.

If you get more requests for your old mirrors than you can handle pass them on to me - I've got the same goods.

Great job. Isn't it great to be able to fold those mirrors and to know that you have done it without Ford's help?

Do the mirros have something like a built in overload so they can recieve constant power in the open direction?

Great job on the instructions!!!

But I don't get it...what are folding mirrors? Do they really "fold"? Or do they just slide in and out? Sorry, I've never heard of this option. We have heated mirrors with built-in turn signals.

(thought we got ALL the options on our FX4)

The fold in just like your mirrors do now... only you don't have to get out and do it... very handy for car washes, garages, tight spaces, etc...

The folding mirrors w/heated mirrors, turn signals, and puddle lamps are a new option for 2005 and only available on the King Ranch models.
