I'm probaby going to pay the shop, this sounds like i'll be spending $350 just on tools.

 

I think you need to slow down on the mods, if getting harder and harder for all the other trucks to catch up!

So, I leave for work around 5am this morning start driving off and see like goo on my windshield and so I use my wipers and then notice there's a piece of paper hanging on the windshield. I read it and it says that my truck was egged because I double parked in my apartment complex, the note claims to be written by the security guard that he was notified. So my question is, how bad is my paint ruined if it was just from overnight? Because I'm in the car wash right now getting it washed before the sun comes up.

Better yet, it's now 7:18am, I'm low on fuel getting gas, staring going up a hill and my truck dies. Guess I should get my gauges fixed.

 

Note more than likely wasn't from the security guard. Who would go up to him and say "hey I egged that truck over there because he double parked". So use the motives. Do u have assigned parking? Is there a car that parks near where u double parked a lot? See if u can't figure out who did it. U say the eggs weren't exposed to sun, so at least they didn't "bake" in. A nice hand wash and clay bar of the truck would be great. And a nice *** whoopin for the idiot.

Yeah, I figured that. I'm going to see if the apartment complex can take care of the damages, since it is a gated community an security guards work 11pm-7am, guess they weren't doing their job. The egg took paint off what it impacted. So I'm taking it to the shop to see what they can do. Just got the truck back so they hopefully they'll help me out. On top of that my platoon sgt tells me he doesn't are that my truck got vandalized. Good job on taking care of soldiers, right?

 

Yea that might work. Execute all options before coming out of pocket. And a nice *** whoopin should still be in store.

On a side note speaking of bad mornings, my girl wrecked her Audi this morning. But she didn't get hurt and wasn't at fault so it's ok.

 

Well you shouldn't of double parked in the first place, but doing something to someone's car because of that is not cool. They could of just left the truck alone and written a note to not park like that. Instead they got rid of what could of potentially been a good breakfast meal.

 

Dang dude that sucks! It's probably especially more harsh on the fresh paint, if they did get egg on that part - you're not even supposed to wax your paint for like a month after a new paint job, let alone put egg on it! This crap pisses me off!

 

Double parking is no longer the main issue. Although it was stupid and started it, there's a bigger issue. Retaliation over small crap is so ridiculous. But i hope it all works out in ur favor bro. And learn how to park :P

Nothing is wrong with double parking, I could care less if someone did, not a far walk to park somewhere else. What pisses me off is it's the immautre people most likely soldiers still committing crimes such as vandalism. Last time I checked we were taught to be adults in the military.

 

that sucks man my truck got egged like 2 months ago by some punk kids on a friday night.. probably drunk i havent buffed it since but there is two marks when it hit .. hopefully with the nice wether i can buff mine out and hopefully you can too

 

The apartment office said the guard wrote it down in his log, and they are going to look into it. I figured I'll get the hood fixed once the rest of the paint settles in then they can just fix the spot.

 

Damn. That sucks too. Nice truck to be egged.
