Trying, but, I gotta slow down on mods. My 1sg wants me to meet up with him after lunch so we can talk about me reenlisting and him trying to get me PSD in Belgium.

Should I? The side that got repaired, the STX decal has bubbles everywhere.
haha yeah it takes some getting used to. that would probably be like a 4/6 drop

i would personally take the decals off..

Most STX's are just a step above XL's. It's pretty rare to find one with both a V8 and power windows/locks, so I think that's what he meant. My first thought when hearing STX is also 'cheap' but not in your case lol.

And the truck you looked at had to have been an XL or maybe just had XLT badges - all XLTs have power windows, locks, carpet, etc.

i dont see how STXs were a step above XLs...

one-off headlights and valance, grille, and PTM front end. seems like a higher $$ package to me

I think a black honeycomb grille and some new wheels would make that thing down right sexy

What's the best way to remove it? Also, won't the paint around the STX decals be faded?

Why not? The pro's are here to tell me what looks pimp and what doesn't. But then again, I make the decision when they give ideas out.

Got a billet grille being painted right now, and wheels, yes.

I'm talking about just sitting in one, most STX's feel cheaper - no tach, manual windows and locks, rubber floors - just an XL with some body upgrades. They even have XL fender badges on most of them.
Even the exterior just doesn't look right to me unless they're lowered. That valance begs for the truck to be dropped, then it looks sweet! I think it's because the rake just makes it stick down that much lower than the rest of the truck, but when it's dropped, it kind of evens everything out? Supercab STX's look better stock than single cab STXs also...IMO.
STX XL interior:

Mine definitely doesn't look like that, power everything and carpet as well. Also my badges said XLT on them.

My badges don't say anything. But i do however have a stripe that goes across the fenders and doors and says Lariat, whatever that means
