Just a heads up, taking STX stickers off. The passenger side STX sticker came off fine, but under the sticker the paint is brighter than the paint around it. Also, the driver side STX sticker which is the newest is being a pain, and a spot of paint came off as well. On my way to go get a heat gun to see if that'll work better than the hair dryer.

Here are some photo's, none of the truck.

I like these rims:

Here is the owner's truck, reminded me of animated_zombie's truck.

He bought the truck for $6,900 and pimped it out on 24's.

As for my truck, the passenger side says 'STX' with out the sticker (the paint around the sticker is actually darker than the paint under the sticker!), and out of 4 years of owning my truck, right above that sticker, very hard to see, you can see 'Carpet & Upholstery' lettering from an older sticker, so that made since why the truck came with a camper shell and bedrug. The driver side that got replaced do to the wreck that I couldn't get off, so I took it to the shop and they used a huge eraser on an air-pressure hose and rubbed it off, some of the paint came off and you can see a small spot of adhesive tape from the sticker and the guy said the reason is because the shop put the sticker on while the paint was still wet. He said he can wet-sand it to get it out.

Anyone heard of wet-sanding it? He said he can also do it to the side with STX and also detail the whole truck inside and outside for $150.

What rims are they? Will the wet sand ruin the paint? Would it make the STX/"Carpet & Upholstery" go away?

the first two rims you posted...

the wet sand, if dont correctly, wont hurt the paint at all and should actually make it look better.

it should get rid of the STX and upholstry shadows too

Love seein wheels with the painted ring. And damn that sucks about the sticker. Kinda sucks cuz it's kinda their fault & kinda not. Why put the sticker on wet paint? Then figured they could jus hide it cuz y would u ever take it off?kinda shady but w/e haha. Hope it turns out well, it'll look much better w/o em

Yeah I know, I don't know what brand the rims are.

The guy said he's been detailing vehicles for over 13 years now, and it sounded like he knew what he was talking about.

I love them as well! It's all good, I asked for the sticker, guess I shouldn't just had it not replaced as well.

I was just looking while I was in the shop, if the first rims would fit my truck and cheaper, I'd get those instead. But, as of right now, the KMC Slides are my choice, due to the wet black would stick out with the grille.

I love the red ring, I just want to know who makes the rim. But, today is a good day and I just have to share it with everyone here. Check out the new look (promoted today!)

And here is the truck.

You can see the STX barely, but in person you can actually see it if you stand at an angle.

See the badass sexy Mustang in the reflection? That's my friend's, to bad he got a DUI and can't drive it. But you can also see the chipped paint that I peeled off with my finger nail.

I love the new emblem's and the new look, finally put on the Ford emblem.

That is it for now, only thing I'm having a problem with is keeping the truck clean, but everyday day or whenever the truck is parked, it get's covered in yellow dust and I'm really allergic to it. What do you guys use to wipe your trucks down? I have a California Wax Mop that works, but I haven't used it since 2006.
