So its been a busy week this past week. alot of things went down and alot went on the truck. First heres two pics to start us off. one is the original of the truck and the other was the goal for my project.

so for those of you who couldnt guess what was happend here was the plan. the bumpers and rockers were going to get rhino-lined and go with a black/blue theme on the truck.

Well lets get started then.

first thing to go was the chrome rear bumper. (sold it off the truck and picked up a painted one for 15 bucks to save on lining)

After selling the chrome bumper and on my way back to college station from houston i picked up my new rims. a set of steelies painted black by another member for cheap

once i got back i tool the replacement and stripped it down.

this was all on saturday. so on sunday i woke up and got to work on the rims. and heres what they look like

not bad for 50 bucks and some paint, (gonna hold me over till i can afford better ones but i do like them)

then i took the short drive out to bryan to get the tires mounted on them for 6 bucks each. (not balanced. i went to brake check where i had free balancing)

when i got back i put the center caps on and took off the front bumper

i only got three of the new rims mounted because i had a nail in one tire and it didnt make sense to pay for it to be done when discount was just gonna take it right off to fix the tire. so i got discount to do it for free. i also got them balanced with sticky weights so there arent any weights on the outside of the rims.

i also went black out on the tires.

here are some day shots with black wheels and no bumpers

Tuesday morning the rear bumper went in to get sprayed. and i got it back that afternoon after class.

after seeing how the rear looked black i came to the decision that the rockers had to be done asap as well as the front.

I spent the rest of the night working on the front bumper to not get it to lean forward and the rips around the liscence plate. on wednesday moring the front bumper and light bar went in to get sprayed and got them back that evening also.

i had to say i was very impressed with them because i had them delete the holes for the trim piece and the bumper looked in almost perfect shape and when it was mounted it was straight.(except it wasnt level at first had to adjust it twice to get it right)

Then i spent thursday morning and night (around my classes) doing my grille surround PTM. i had to get 4 cans of paint and bought college station out of my color (bryan also)

the next morning a daytime pic before the truck went in to get the rockers done (friday)

thanks man. its so tempting but i cant just yet. im also not sure which way i want to go yet. im torn between doing spindles and a BL and blocks and AAL in the rear or just doing the 7.5" kit. idk about what i want to spend or if i dont do the fabtech where would i go after spindles up front. do they make brackets that lower the control arms? idk.

also did you re-gear? im going to have to with my 4.2 if i go any bigger
