hey Pat I know where there's a real nice harley truck (it's an '02 all black) for sale as stated above you cannot go wrong with a factory supercharged harely truck

and dibs on your front seat if the truck is totaled but I hope not

sounds like zaairman is gonna need a tractor with a cab on it

To keep this on topic, we got an estimate for 6200.00 for parts and labor not counting any aftermarket parts on the truck. So we might have to fight a little, but i wont settle until they are covered.

pat, unless you have aftermarket covered in your insurance you are basically screwed. The only way around it would be to take it to daniel and have him order the parts and bill insurance. But then each piece you got replaced would be a different shade of silver

If she pays nothing then i have out of pocket cost of my deductible and i just have to eat it.

I priced out some parts last night, and just the L headlight and corner on the R side, my harley davidson fog light, and my valence was $1400 retail cost. And counting that 1400 bucks, with what i know was damaged total is over $4000 in parts alone, not counting paint or labor. So rough estiment i should be 7-8k in damages.
That's cool your insurance co can go after her. It's a "No Fault" state here and that doesn't happen unfortunately.

Estiment seems close with no frame or cab damage. You'll need documentation of the mods in order to claim/collect, we all know you have plenty of that

Insurance co could/will (lol) baulk IF they were unaware of these modifications as the insurer. Could also be realized as a "no net worth benefit" to vehicle, so you may be in for a little fight. IME, that's met with compromise between both parties. Stay firm on reimbursement, don't give an inch at first and you'll end up with more. Insurance companies dislike going to court - that's a good thing. Just keep in mind if this issue DOES go to court, your chances worsen. Theres always something you can find in an Insurance companies contractual documents to deem them "held harmless".

Chances are, it will be worked out over the phone first - then letter.

Good Luck Patrick

Pat, seeing as you need new heads, are you going to buy that one side or buy a new set?

We're still "fighting" with the lady that hit me 3 months ago to try and get my $500 back...

Still gonna have to fight them with the aftermarket stuff. They are talking about reimbursing me for what i paid for the aftermarket parts and then i will have to replace them on my own. I would rather not do it that way, since i got such a good deal on alot of the stuff, that i doubt I will be able to find that deal again.

I stopped by on my lunch break and talked the guy into doing some side work for me while its in the shop before it hits the paint booth. He's gonna shave both fenders (emblems and antenna) for 150 bucks. Insurance is already gonna paint both fenders and both front doors, so i wont have to pay anything for the paint

Awesome deal on the shaving Pat! You wanna give me your antenna so I can have a spare?

BTW, just tell them you bought everything you had for full price of what it goes for nowadays.

Yep, I suggested that he come up with a paint scheme similar to the HD but different.
