I don't see any real structural damage other than the core support, so that is good news.

yea Todd (guy working on my truck) wasnt there when i took pics, guess he was out on lunch, but he talked about there might be damage below where the hinge mounts. He said the hood gets pushed back into the truck, and that mounting point tends to push down. Its hard to tell from what i was looking at if it was damaged or not, since i dont know what it is supposed to look like to begin with......

Core support is getting replaced.

Not feeling it. I saw a new corvette in silver, that had the center of the hood done in a medium grey, looked pretty good. Too busy to photoshop it tho.

I really think im just gonna stick with all silver.

maybe dark shadow grey on the hood would fit the truck better. I've had my truck for 3 years now and the silver gets boring. you can always try vinyl and tear it off if you get tired of it.

Good point! They can do some pretty amazing stuff with Vinyl and it doesn't have to be permanent

I didn't get hooked on the black hood until that guy who did a lighting motor swap just down the road from me installed a black hood on his white 4x4. It wasn't just the fact it was black. - It was a different style hood. I can't find the pic darnet!! But I think it had two little scoop deals. It really looked good tho.
