Why not a 5four? To much power?

Why not an older SVT lightning or a blown Harley ? Yea, one in good shape might be a little pricey. Did you check those out already?

He's so used to that little 4.6, doubt he could handle a 5.4.

There is a really nice 01 Lightning for sale in the classifieds(VA), but I would hate to turn that low mileage machine into a daily driver.

The HD, '99 Scab Lariat, and silver NBS reg cab are real nice looking trucks. You could turn any of them into a really awesome truck.

How tall are you, Pat? My regular cab surprisingly had more room than I thought when I went to the dealership to look at it. I'm 6'2" and fit very comfortably. Sorry to hear about the job loss. I've been tossing up the idea of trading in my V6 and looking for another regular cab, but with the 5.4 before I buy a lowering kit for it. Good luck with the truck/job hunt.

6'6"

I have most problem with the mini door latch being right next to my head on the 04-08 reg cab.
