BFG 20's or downgrade to 18's

Ok so my OEM pirelli's 20's are finally getting ready to go (40K). I'm trying to decide if I should go with the BFG AT 285/65/20's or downsize to 18's. Money is a concern, which is one of the reason's I'd downgrade to some second-hand OEM 18's. I don't off-road and do mostly city - highway driving. I have a 3" body lift with no levelling kit. I'm hoping to not have to just re-up another set of the scorpions. but can't go much over $1000.

Just go with the BFG's and keep your twenty's, they will look better and you will be happier in the long run. I've got the same tires on mine and they work really well for city/highway driving and have never let me down off road when I am out hunting.

You'll save some $ by going with Nitto Terra Graps. I'm running these on 20s right now and have had BFG ATs in the past. I'm happy with them so far.

275/55R20 - I paid $190 per tire for them, free shipping. I stuck with OEM recommended sizing since I'm not going to level & want to maintain fuel efficiency.

You pay more for the BFG name but also get a longer tread life. I had a set of BFG's that lasted alot longer than Nitto's on my last truck.

Dont forget shipping to your door. Thats another $150, then mount and balance. You wont be far from $320 after they get them on your truck.
