Hi, I am working on a 2007 f150 5.4 3v with a blown engine. I found a good deal a 2012 5.4 3v engine from a wrecked expedition. I was wondering if it would be a direct swap or if there would be any complications when swapping the engines. From the pictures, they appear to be the same engine, I just wanted to double check before purchasing the engine though, being they are 5 years apart. I understand that there may be a few minor differences in the engine, the main thing I want to know is if it will swap into my truck, and run without any complications. IF not, what would I have to do to make it work?

Yes, it will swap, with some minor differences.
