If it is a 2wd you'd need about 6" or more of lift with the right width tires and right rims. I'm not sure if they make suspension lifts that big for expos. You'd probably be best off going with a small suspension lift like a combo of lift springs and spindle lift up front and a block or lift leafs in back with a body lift.

If its 4wd I've seen others with just a 3"bl and 35s. 2wd id say you could get away with 6 or 7 inches of lift for 35s with the right backspacing. If your 4wd id run cranked tbars and 3" bl and if your 2wd id run 3" bl and 3.5" lift spindles if your wheels have the right backspacing.

33's will look better at stock height in my opinion. If you want to fit 35's, the best way is to crank up the torsion bars all the way and use the OEM wheels.

It would be tight with just turning up the bars, but doable. Here is mine with 33s at stock height.

To be honest if you go much bigger than 33, you should look at regearing.

It is not terrible, I went from the factory 32s, to 33s so it wasn't a huge jump. YOU can definitely tell a difference. IT kicks out of overdrive on fairly minor grades, more so than it did before., and I also saw drop in mileage around town, to teh tune of about 1mpg.

3" BL with 315/70/17's or equivilent looks really good if you have stock 17" rims too.

I have adjustable pedals. I've also installed one on a friends Expy with adjustable pedals. It is not an issues. Your local shop gave you some misinformation.
