lol no. Got a trailer from a guy yesterday for free. Came into work randomly and was going to the scrap yard, but asked if any of us could use it. No rust or rot, will need a new floor, but that's simple. So that's bee taking up some time while I continue to spray and clean the intake. Plus hockey being on doesn't help

Hope to get back to it tonight

lol. That projects almost done.

With the air intake, a can of brake cleaner later it's looking better. But wow you wash your hands with that stuff? Some got on some Styrofoam near by and ate it. So much so that it ate right through and stuck to the cement floor.

The build up is coming right off. I think another can may be in order to clean it up even more.

Thank goodness are hands aren't made of styro-foam ehh lol.. But yea, you can go thru a can of that pretty quick. Should probably wear safety glasses as well, you don't want to loose an eyeball and that stuff jets out of the can fairly fast, = splatter effect...

It also works well for cleaning out cuts, -if you happen to slice yourself. Use Brake cleaner to wash out and Windex to disinfect

I wash my dishes with it and use it as a condiment when I'm out of mustard. I love brake cleaner.

No but really, stuff works great to clean your hands. Am I going to die at an early age? Who knows.. whether or not they can blame it on the brake cleaner, I don't think so.

lol you guys are nuts. I paid $5 for a 16oz can at Bennys.

The seals, for the the intake. 4 on one side, 4 on the other. Intake manifold seals is the correct name? NAPA had no idea what I was talking about.

Can someone post a link for some for sale? Projects on hold until I get those

Don't forget the Plenum (TB Elbow) gasket, -= that's a special one. Usually you can only use it once. You'll see what I mean once you get it.

Then you have a TB gasket, 2 EGR gaskets if you removed it on both sides and an IAC gasket.

Sorry, I'm terrible with these things.

That photo, the 4 holes on each side. I need to replace those seals or are they gaskets? They are called what? The TB gasket I remember from my 2000 blue one, it's oval with a weird notch in the top left corner.

However, when I removed the elbow on this, there was no seal.

Yea, no seals. I believe seals are mammals, cousin to the penguin.

So those are intake gaskets.
