i went ahead and took a video on my iphone but I have no idea how to post it online...the truck fires right up and if you give it gas it will run (sounds bad ***!), but without throttle it wont, I am missing the line going from the drivers side PCV / vent which I believe runs to the intake (large vacum leak Im assuming), but the airraid intake I have is weird and it moves the lines from up by the throttle body to much closer to the filter so none of the lines I have are matching up. I wish I would have taken more photos of all the routing of all electrical and stuff, I know you guys said its pretty easy but considering all the parts I have (4.6 and 5.4) they are beginning to get a little mixed up and I cant quite remember everything perfectly BUT I think a few hours this weekend I can get it buttoned up, everything routed cleanly and possibly even ready to drive! Thanks again for all the help guys! Oh and the gauges are no longer sweeping either

It seems to be working correctly when you have it grounded correctly. haha. Glad it was something simple though.

ok so I have all vacum & pcv hoses and everything on and I think its good, but the truck still doesnt want to idle...I have all the sensors on the intake hooked up and the truck runs smoothly (even at 700-800rpms) but it just doesnt want to stay idleing. I do have a check engine light on but I am dumb and forgot to return my old computer to stock so my xcal is locked so I cant read the codes right now. I tried swapping computers but then PATS wasnt happy and it wouldnt read so I think Im going to have swap everything over so I can return it to stock and unlock my tuner and then hopefully I can read codes. In the mean time does anyone happen to know what this sensor is for? It is located over by the Cruise control module and runs into the harness right by the MAF harness but I cannot find the other side for the plug on anything on that side of the engine bay...sounds stupid and maybe Im just looking past something stupid again but Im not seeing it. Other than not idleing right now the truck runs and sounds great! I want to get this figured out so I can move on to the tranny and see if it is going to shift!

The only 2 pin connectors I know of on that side are the air temp sensor on the intake tract. There is a sensor on the front timing cover, drivers head. Think its a 2 pin Neither of them are near the maf harness though. The maf runs under the oem air filter housing bracket and connects to the harness there. Check around that area for any other unconnected plugs. Otherwise, that DTC may have the answer if you can pull the code.

I swapped the cluster, ignition, key, and comp...Pats is happy, the truck even fired with the 4.6 comp BUT my tuner is still not working, it turns on but does not go to any of the menus or anything...just sits there saying SCT blah blah blah

went back out and it worked, I returned the old comp back to stock which unlocked the tuner, then swapped the comp / cluster / ignition /etc and fired it. It took a minute to get the CEL but it came back...I have a P1000 which sounds like its not really a problem, and a P1504 so something is up with the IAC...gonna go try to get it figured out!
