im glad i searched first and didn't start a new thread. I've had the p0401 for about 2 weeks now. Looks like im going to pop the TB and clean it. I had posted this question in another thread. Before popping the TB off to clean it. Would it be a good idea to run some seafoam thru the brake booster line to get some of the gunk out of the intake manifold that you can't reach?

i forgot to ask this. Will the P0401 code cause the engine to run rich? Since I got this code i've been sucking gas down like crazy.

Probably not. Just clean the the throttle body EGR ports like the previous pictures showed. The four gaskets for the EGR valve, IAC valve, throttle body, and intake spacer, are only about $25 ... and you will need 2-3 cans of B12.

Increased fuel consumption hasn't been an issue for me in the several times I've had that code..
