I installed some thick under carpet matting - from the carpet store - That's why it's hard to here my truck running with the windows shut. No heat - my stereo sounds awesome after doing that

u have nothing to worry about. by the time i get to do my motor swap i'll be outside freezing my *** of in the snow changing engines cause the bay isnt tall enuff to hoist an engine over my lifted truck. even then its too full of crap like sheetrock n stuff. oh did i mention itll be snowing here in a few weeks n im doin the same swap? lol

Just put the 3.55's back in the rear and you won't be spinning everywhere. 4.10's are too tall for that much power

Disagree. It's the tranny ratios in 1st & 2nd that are gonna be a far larger effect on overall ratio....

LOTS of Roush I/C'd S/C trucks runnin' around here with 4.10's.

It's a tire / available traction issue, not a rear gear issue. And a launch technique issue.

Ask yer tuner to add a bit more torque management LOL!

Positive displacement blower = torque everyhere

4.10s are staying. I dont want to loose the low end power when im out of boost. I'll learn how to launch, just haven't went WOT from a dig yet.

I spent a bundle on Hush Mat - like Dynomat - it helped deaden the sound, but I still have more cab heat than I would like. I did the floor, up to the back window, and as high as I could on the front wall. No help with the temps.

The 1 & 2 ratios can be changed (in effect) with a higher stall converter. I just put in a 3,200, and it's fun, but I have no traction. Bigger and better tires shortly.

yeah I have a 2000 stall, it seems to do me just fine, I Love it, just when im actually racing, slicks and a little feathering will get it done. I think the 31x14x16 M&H's will give me some stick
