I need more disposable income like you so I can add more mods.

well since I have probably sold more Moog and Ford parts then most ppl here I will chime in on this
Yes Ford OEM parts dont come with zerks but that doesnt make them crap parts...I have had Moog parts fail faster then OEM parts and have done more parts replacement on the aftermarket parts then the OEM parts...if you have good luck with one brand thats great...and just like many have had great success with the OEM parts also

HI!... Well IMO the stupidest thing FORDs ever did was starting to use zerkless suspension/steering components. The F-150 components fail all the time. Always reading about where some ball joint let go or a tir rod end snapped. The only reason mine have lasted almost 7 years is because I grease them through the boots with a needle attachment for my greae gun and I run synthetic grease. I do notice that 4X4 trucks seem to wear the parts out fast due to lifts, larger tires, off-roading, mud, dirt, sand, etc..... I think if FORD would re-install the grease fittings back into their suspension/steering parts that they would last much longer. If you actually look at the stock FORD parts vs. the MOOG parts you will notice that 90% of the time they are identical except for the addition of grease zerks. They even look like they were forged in the same mold, same casting marks. The other 10% is usually thicker and better built. The grease fittings make a world of difference. Too bad FORD doesn't realize this. Mabey after a few more people get killed and some more lawsuits they will learn.

hehe my truck still has the zerks
HI!... Well I've got all 4 new "L" rims om and with the NITTO rubber. The GMS COPS came in. I'll be picking them up on SAT. Then I'll be ordering the 3 AUTO METER gauges to fill the triple gauge pod I had grafted into my upper dash top. Then off to the dyno to do some serious data logging with my N/A 94 octane and my N/A 100 octane race program. Will probably be renting the dyno for a 1/2 to 3/4 day. I guess it's good that the owner is a good buddy! LOL!
HI!... Well with all the problems this year with the truck and other things around the house the single T-76 turbo set-up will be pushed back until next spring I believe.

Did you get to do your dyno tuning ?
Everything still working good ?
Just curious - been following this thread for a while now...
HI!... No dyno tune yet. Ran into major problems with the GMS cops. Just ordered my 3 gauges for the custom dash gauge pod, and a TA PERFORMANCE aluminum 9.75 girdle. Last weekens at the local S/R's I cleaned house 4-0. 1st time running my 100 octane "KILL" program and VP MS-109 racing fuel.

I had a friend who had a really nice '02 F150, with a tired 5.4.
He found a complete L motor (with harness, PCM, L computer) and tranny (installed a new shift kit and an upgraded torque converter), took his truck down on Thursday night, and had it back up and running late Monday morning. No other downtime since last Summer.
Maybe it isn't 650 r/w hp, but still very nice anyway, and I might settle for that and having a truck on the road for the last several months.
Once you DO get the turbo done, if the motor holds together this time, you should be in for the ride of a lifetime that first 1/4 mile...
But, imagine all of the interesting reading we all would have missed out on had Neal gone that route.
Neal, my hat is off to you for your patience and perserverence!
THANK YOU for LOTS of good reading...
AWESOME Truck, but like Rob02, whenever you sell it you should easily be able to recover at least 30-40% of just the $$ you have in it, not to mention all the time and aggravation.
