His white truck that is 7+ years old doesn't have any rust. So the crap works well. I just hate getting it all over me. Last night he told me that the fresh coating was two weaks old and that it was dry. Neal hates working under my truck because there is always some dried up mud that falls on him.

Neal

Glad to hear that you got her back together. Good luck with it and let's hope that all of the gremlins are worked out of it

The only gremlin his truck has is the loose nut behind the steering wheel

HI!... Well it's got about 325KMS on her now and everything seems to be running o.k. No leaks or anything. Took her out with a huge HOT ROD cruise we were having today and she performed very well.

I think it's bad when your engine only last you a few hundred miles Neal, how many kms did you get out of the last motor?

HI!... Stock 5.4 had 205,000KMS. 1st built 5.4 attempt had 4300KMS. This is the same built 5.4. All internals all the same but has new rod/main bearings.

Congrats Neal. That engine has fought you every step of the way so far, hopefully it works out better and the next time you are making posts about new parts is adding that turbo

HI!... The old 340FWH.P 5.4 engine with 4.10 gears got around 21.3MPG on the highway. Never kept track of city driving. The new built 5.4 has not been on the highway yet so I don't know. All I can say is it's not anywhere close to the old engine's MPG.

HI!... Well the complete AEROMOTIVE fuel system and custom fuel cell have been pushed back a bit now do to the engine re-rebuild. Currently waiting for my GRANNETTELI coil packs to come in. Should be here at the end of next week so they told me, but we all know what's going to happen there.

Then in a few weeks it will be 3 new AUTOMETER gauges to install into my custom upper dash pods.
