Just a few observations...

It is my guess that the reason you burnt up valves on your old motor is because of distribution issues. I would run quickly away from the wet kit with that intake.

You have plenty of injector for a dry kit, and way too much for motor, and not enough for a turbo kit.

I don't think I would have gone with the Mahle, especially high heat/hp applications, but that is my opinion. Are those rings file to fit? What sort of compression?

HI!... No distribution problems, just bad advice and damage caused by leaning the fuel jet out.

As for a dry kit, don't like them will never run one. Actually the 42LB'ers are not too much, and it will be tuned accordingly. I will be going with 60LB injectors once the turbo set-up is installed.

Actually I chose the MAHLE pistons I'm running for their heat and H.P capabilities. Pistons yeild a 8.4:1 compression and are designed for SC/TURBO applications with lots of boost. I know of people running the MAHLE's that are pushing over 25LBs of boost and 1400 - 2000H.P with no problems. They are one of the best pistons for the modular engines. That's why I researched and chose them over their less than good counter parts, JE, PROBE, KB, MANELY which alot of people here and on other boards have had problems with.

Just be careful, that intake is far from wet kit friendly. Keep it under 150. A dry setup would be much more ideal, you can add fuel via the tune/injectors. Much safer. I had a similar combo motor in my Mustang, big bore 2v, and 24's were not even hitting 80% duty cycle and that motor was making 370 at the wheels... Just an FYI...

You wouldn't still be making those hoods, they look pretty sweet. I wouldn't mind having one
