HI!... Well I got some more work done on the truck this weekend.

I totally re-did my entire engine harness right from the wires up. I also lengthened the coil and injector plugs because the harness will no longer be on the valve covers. It will be tucked up between the intake manifold runners and the lower plenum.

I also totally re-did my alternator wiring harness. Due to I'm going to be running a 200AMP alternator, I needed to upgrade the 4 gauge positive cable to a 2 gauge cable :

HI!... Well I got out to my engine builders today. They are going to balance the rotating assembly on MONDAY and should have the short block assembled by WEDNESDAY. Were basically just waiting on the COMETIC head gaskets right now. Hoping to pick the engine up on SATURDAY.

im still learning how everything works inside of an engine, so i have a question. what does a knife edged crank have over a stock crank? logic would tell me that it helps cut through the oil for less drag, but im not sure.

very nice neal. I didn't think you could totally rebuild our engines like you have done-are in the process of.

One question: for this build up alone how much money do you have in the engine so far? And about how much more do you expect to spend to finish it?

When did you start working on engines? what age? are you a certified mechanic or did you just learn from other people? you are very knowledgable

AWESOME JOB!

you gotta have a video camera when you first start it up and when you take it to the strip. Post em on here!
