Hey, Neal, Its looking good.
Is the machine shop rebuilding the entire engine or just the short/long block. I'm looking forward to seeing the complete engine and some pics of you and JMC installing it.

Neal - you listed that your using an inovative wide band a/f guage. I have a choice between the aem and the inovative, just curious on what made you go with the inovative.

Thanks.

HI!... My engine builder is doing most of the assembly. I am perfectly capable of doing it but just have no time. Been working over 70 hours a week lately. I'll be installing the front acceseries, WP, intake manifold and some of the smaller things when it come back home.

HI!... I just like the I/M A/F guage better. Plus most of the LIGHTNING guys are running them and my tuner suggested it as well. The AEM would be my 2ND choice tough. A ton of the "RICERS" around here use the AEM one.

You're right it does look like the darker one. I bought some of that duplicolor high heat blue for my calipers but I still haven't used it.

HI!... Actually it IS FORD BLUE. Ford had light blue for the early years and a darker blue for the later years. I chose the latter. IMO painting the block black looks stupid. Most FORD V-8's were painted blue and I wanted to stick with tradition. BTW it's PLASTI-KOTE high heat enamel in late model FORD BLUE. Also the pics were lightened up due to the dark room we were in at the time.

HI!... Well I picked up my alternator from a buddy tonight that owns a auto electric store. Everything is brand new and it now puts out 200AMPS all for only $75.00(CAN) lol! I had the cases CERAMIC COATED.

On a PISSED OFF note, the UPS idiots descided to ship my new COMETIC head gaskets to SEATTLE!!!!! They were surpposed to be here on WEDNESDAY so my engine builder could have my engine ready to be picked up for this SAT. I was going to spend the long weekend installing the engine in my truck. Then they lost them again so I didn't have them for today!!!!! Now they said they would be here tomorrow by noon. We'll see..........
