What are the suggestions on putting seafoam in this engine just curious?

 

DO NOT USE SEAFOAM in a modern fuel injected engine. If you feel you need a fuel additive, use Techron.

Seafoam is great for old school carbureted engines without catalytic converters.

Just run "top tier" gas.. I have only used Chevron and Shell gas in my truck since new. They put their own cleaning agents in the gas that the others do not..

You can get off the shelf Tecron as an additive too, like glc said.

And remember; additives are not the replacement for routine maintenance.

 

Just PayPal me the $7 you would spend on that snake oil. That way you'll still be out the $7 but yer truck won't have issues.

 

Pretend you were planning to buy two containers of Seafoam and send me the other $7 you would have spent. That way, you'll feel twice as good!
