Are you being serious or sarcastic about the insurance? It should still be insured the same, or so I would think. It's still the same truck, just had a little plastic surgery haha

Curious about that as well. But what happens when an accident occurs (hope you never have one) and they need to replace parts?

Raptors only come with 5.5 ft beds, so I assume it's 5.5

A buddy of mine put one of those ranch hand full replacement bumpers on his truck and never reported the change to his insurance. However, a week after putting it on, he got in an accident (his fault) and the insurance company bought him a brand new ranch hand bumper. I'm not sure if all of this is true, but I talked to him about this 2 days ago and was very specific. So I too am curious now. I would have to think that major changes (ie. lifts, bumpers, conversions) need to be reported in order to receive compensation for them in the event of an accident because they're more valuable than stock parts, and therefore should increase your payments.

thats what my agent said but they are usually not car smart. when we say lift they think of major lift. They just are wanting to make more money i think.
