Will they not cover the Raptor parts, or they won't cover anything at all, not even shel out the cost of factory panels?

You wouldn't happen to have a pic of the piece you had to cut?

they will cover the cost of buying new factory fenders, none of the raptor parts. and if i change the suspension then it becomes liability only which means they dont pay for any damages to my truck. because i gues putting a factory raptor shock on a f150 is lifting the truck..... IDK what they are smoking but i just said wow these little rules are ridiculous. Always call your insurance when changing your vehicle.

They won't give you full coverage with a lift? I KNOW that isn't normal. Brand new trucks are sold with lifts, and others put on when still close to new, and they're fully covered.

I haven't told my insurance company a damn thing!

I have full coverage, but as far as the know the truck is stock.. They've been known to drop people from full coverage for lifting their truck around in my area too.

I think it all depends on the what company, and where on the insurance thing. A colleague of mine had a wild majorly lifted, super modified Jeep TJ Wrangler that got totalled during Hurricane Ike. He did have to have a specific rider on his policy but they covered it 100%, and he has the same agent as me...

This is an awesome build, and after reading all you've done i'll be following this thread till it's done, & i've never heard of someone dropping you (even from full coverage) b/c of a lifted truck. though im in Louisiana and basically every other truck around here is lifted.

Our home insurance company made us get rid of both trampolines at both houses a few years ago. Flat out refused all liability unless we removed them from the property immediately. Apparently pretty common, but most people never tell their insurance.

Turelli, you're in California, aren't you? That would explain it if you are

When something occurs that makes no logical sense, 90% of the time KraZyForIa is the answer. The state probably stance against lifted vehicles and with holds tax breaks from insurance companies that cover them, or something of that nature. But then again, Cali, tax breaks, ha!

Great that suspension is on its way though! Guess you slipped in before October
