Yup, my *** is sub'd!

Your truck started out identical to mine, white 2006 2wd Screw. Even had about the same wheels but all chrome. 22" Boss', the spokes look the same. Got those things off as soon as I could haha. Considering that I have a little under 5 grand into mine and it's not lifted and is NOT Raptor looking, $6k is pretty good.

6k is not bad for everything you have. Looks great man, can't wait to see it done. Any thoughts on the interior? Do you think a 09+ dash will fit in our year?

im looking into that as well. its much harder to find the dash pieces for a decent price. plus wiring it all will be a pain unless the truck is a lariat. my main goal is to make this as simple and economic as possible so others can do the same. i'm working with shops in my area who share the same passion as i do and who want to help make something possible rather than make a quick buck.

Are they? I think the doors are different sizes and the 09+ back seats are much larger than ours

if they were then its by inches. the cab is the same demensions but the dash might be sucked more towards the windshield thus making it feel roomier....

funny how it adds up hahaha. just be patient, there are always deals out there you just have to be ready to pull the trigger when the time is right. wheel and deal with people. i bought my volant intake for $40 and my leveling kit for $40 as well and my edge CTS for $100 so it pays to be patient.

I agree with that! I got Nfab step bars in great shape for 80 bucks from a trade in at my dealership. And I took a light bar that mounts behind the grill with 4 LED clusters on it, xexon back up lights, and Husky Liner floor mats for free from the same truck. Got my $400 toolbox for $50 from a different trade in. I got an SCT X3 for free too, but for some reason (dumbass) wanted a brand new one with my custom tunes ($100-175 extra in the end) and gave it to a neighbor kid.

I have contemplated doing a conversion like this, but I won't have the financial or time means until I'm done with school and completely hunkered down. I'm sure it's a huge undertaking!

I figured the cabs had to be the same dimensions because the wheelbases are the same and so are the beds. So it's gotta be that the front end has been shortened or that the dash is smaller. I'll have to check at work tomorrow
