Yea that's what happens when you talk to the owner vs an employee sometimes. Haha.

I'm going to have to say that I am personally almost never a fan of conversions especially raptor conversions because they almost all look gawdy and just over the top. you sir definitely did an awesome job! glad you went with methods too! keep it up and let me know if you need anything done you cant otherwise make yourself. what suspension set up were you thinking of going with?

Thank you. I looked at every conversion kit out there and I agree they look horrible. Everyone wants to get the trophy truck style glass. The only thing I need made is a bracket for the headlights. I'm working on a design right now. I went with RPG suspension. They are local to me and I think they offer the best bang for the buck right now. Once she's done I probably will bring it to some of the shows.

D.turelli, that is a fantastic job you've done there with the build. Where did you find the raptor bed box though? The reason I ask is that I just got in an accident the other day and the best course of action is to just replace the bed box (sorry for the thread-jack)

by bed box I am assuming that you just mean his entire bed correct? I think he just threw in the rear lights. Either way what you could do is put fiberglass bedsides on your truck which would look really weird without front glass, which would look really weird without wheels and tires soooooo... What I would do is just get your bed skinned, they drill out the rivets, replace the bedside that is messed up and then after that replace it, spot weld and bingo. if your whole bed is really that messed up then I would just get another bed. Idk how interchangeable your bed is with the new beds. I wouldnt see any reason to change them that much but could be wrong.

Thank you very much. Now I replaced the entire bed. Six bolts hold it on (plus the wires and filler neck do not forget about those! Haha) everyone needs to understand that 06-present frames are very similar. The only differences are that the lower control arm points in the front are just a tad narrower. Now for the 04-05 f150's they have 2 bolts holding the bumper and hitch while 06-present have 3 bolts on each side holding the bumper and hitch on. Beds go on sale out here about 6 times during the year. PM me your location and ill see how I can help. Fiberglass is another route but the lines are not like factory. Plus buying good glass is another factor so they don't crack. If you don't have access to all the stock parts I'd suggest getting your stock bed replaced or being patient like I was an put the raptor bed on now then rolling around with the bed until we can find a complete front end. If you find a hood buy it. Those are very hard to find but if need be get a glass hood and stock raptor fenders, grill, valence, headlights, and bumper.

I'm interested in the part how I threw in the rear lights... Haha can you explain that?

I lost track thinking this was a newer style truck that you wanted to make into a raptor. Not an 04 body style.

So I've been "following" your build and just never subscribed but I saw your post about headlights. If you check out my garage and look at my truck what can you do with my headlights? I don't like the look of them. Maybe if the inside was PTM but I'm not sure how they would look being green, maybe black. Do you sell headlights?

get your lights painted black. either find some already painted or have someone paint yours. black will look really good with your truck. i only sell off road lighting.
