Man I know. I'm in strong debate with doing a conversion or buying a new model.

I guess you just gotta crunch the numbers! And it depends how attached you are to your truck. I imagine it would be relatively inexpensive to do an 09+ conversion that isn't a Raptor. However, if you do a conversion, I think it'll kill your resale value because it has become a "Frankenstein" truck.

How many miles are on yours?

Yeah I see a lot of 09+ parts for relatively cheap. Raptor parts aren't too bad but do add up. Yeah if I did a conversion I would keep it for a long time. I'm at 85k, you?

I'm at 87k, pretty close! I'm for sure keeping mine for another 5 or so years, but plan on keeping it indefinitely. Never know what life is gonna throw your way though. I can't see my truck being worth more than about $5k in 5 years. I consider that to be a negligible amount of money, so it wouldn't matter financially if I did a conversion. I think I would want to do a Raptor conversion though if I were to go through all of the effort involved in the conversion.

Agreed. Yeah I would want to do a Raptor conversion as well if I were to do one.

Yep. I would rather do a conversion then buy a brand new one. I have no intention on jumping it, I would only want it for looks.

GORGEOUS . . .

I'm beyond jealous. It's next to impossible to tell the difference, I probably couldn't without looking at it very closely in person. Once you get the suspension on, the motor will basically be the only thing that could give it away.

I'm just gonna go to bed now cause I want to do this and can't right now

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. i started buying parts a year and a half ago. haha. wait for the deals and once you see one buy it and store it. And thanks man shes almost there. now i found a issue i didnt see coming... Insurance.... how are they going to cover this now that its not a XLT F150... hahahaha. I think my premium will go up quite a bit.
