Just trying to do it on the cheap. Never priced u-bolts but something tells me they're going to cost $60-80, on top of cam bolt and alignment prices. And that doesn't cover shocks. Speaking of which, I'm also wondering how the stock fx4 shocks will be with a 2" drop.

i got mine from a junkyard for a whopping $25. supposively you can get new ones from autozone or other parts stores for around the same price or something like that. (see if anyone on here wants to trade, plenty of 2wd trucks wanting to be lifted, and they have to switch out u-bolts)

Thumbs up

Dang, just looking back over old posts, still gonna lower my '07 FX4 come Spring, starting with to stock FX2 front spec using factory sport tuned shocks likely and FX2 rear U bolts without the blocks ..... might even go for a set of longer shackles out back.

That's a good looking truck as is .... well, needs a wash & wax ..... but I like it!
Front tires show excess negative camber, guess it's pre-alignment?

I wouldn't raise it, but it's yours ..... see you already have the stuff stacked up. Might let me know what you want to do with the take off shackles and maybe shocks after you do?

i believe any chevy 1/2 ton with torsion keys years 99-06 will work. and as the wheels and offset, i have no idea about any of that, i suggest you post up in the wheels/tires subforum on here and see if they can help you.
