So here is my 07 4x4 Screw. It's factory height with a set of 22's that stick out past the fenders just a little because of the offset. When I bought the wheels I planned on lifting the truck so thats why I went with the offset. Anyways, I wanna lower the truck as much as possible but not have to worry about any rubbing. I actually think with the slight wider stance with the wheels it would look pretty mean lowered. Any suggestion on kits or heights? I dont wanna say money is no object but i want the do it right and buy the best quality parts I can get. Help please?

I have an 02 fx4 with stock ride height. If I wanted to lower the rear by removing the blocks between the spring and axle, will I need to get shorter u-bolts? Or can I put the block on top of the spring? Seems like the later is asking for trouble. Just wondering if anyone has done it.

I'ld say get the shorter U-bolts for a FX2.

just take out the lift blocks and put on 2wd u-bolts, there's like a 2" difference between the 2wd u-bolts and 4wd u-bolts. i just left the lift block off of it, and i put shackles and hangers on it now and i still can't seem to hit the bump stops unless i have about 800lbs or more in the bed and i hit a bump.

2004 fx4

After driving around with a 2" leveling kit and 33's for a few years, I decided to remove the leveling kit and drop the truck 3" using Belltech lowering struts and rear shackles. Although the truck handles great, I miss the raised look so as soon as I can find a heater for my garage I'm installing a Pro-Comp 6" lift, 4.56's and Nitto 35's.

i guess because i'm parked next to derek and mark and their darker color vehicles make mine look goofy. if you look right above the taillight, it is the same color, and when you see it in person it's the exact same color.
