can the 2007 owners sign in please :)
Guess I'll join the club
Picked up my '07 FX4 SCREW a week and a half ago. Picked it up with 8 miles on it and have a massive 120 on it now.
I got mine all black, cloth captains chairs (by choice, I hate leather), 6 Disk w/sirius (though I want to swap in a Nav unit), 5.4L, 5.5' bed, 18" wheels (seemed like there were alot more 20's than 18's available).
My truck is pretty basic by choice. I had no need for power pedals, a power sliding rear window, overhead track, and all the junk like that...
I haven't driven it much yet, but I absolutly love it!

New Lariat
Got my new Lariat about 2 weeks ago. WOW, wow, wow and wow!
Does that sum it up? Absolutely love the truck, although it took me about 1.5 weeks of mucking around with the seat adjustment to find a comfortable position.
Got the truck in order to pull a Travel Trailer (next purchase). I have 3 kids who absolutely love camping. So we bought ourselves a membership at KM Resorts (we've been tenting it so far), then the truck, and finally will be the trailer.
We've got our heart set on a Rockwood 8317 (quad bunk), 33' (hitch to bumber), 5921# dry weight. I just hope the truck can handle it
Any comments would be appreciated.

Wow, this online forum thing is new to an old fart like me...
I bought a new '07 White Lariat Screw in late July. Sorry, no pics yet. I have already put 3k on it and love the truck! Always wanted a truck, but wife wouldn't let me get one because of hauling kids. Well, now we are finally empty nested and I got the TRUCK! First thing the wife did was go to a local auction and buy a bunch of furniture and guess what... Yep, I hauled it in the truck bed just fine!
'78 Dodge Magnum - 200k plus miles
'88 Ford Aerostar - 200k plus miles
'00 Ford Expedition - 200k plus miles
'07 Ford F150 Lariat Screw!
These are the only vehicles I have ever owned. Bought them all new and drove them until they said please get something new! Plan on having the '07 for a long time also...

New to the Ford family here. Just got my 07 Lariat supercrew 4x4 yesterday. Deep blue pearl w/ beige 2-tone. First Ford and I am quite impressed so far.

Traded in my old 2001 F-150 Supercrew Lariat 5.4 4x4 for a new 2007 F-150 King Ranch. This new unit has all of 315 miles on it. A 4X4 5.4 V-8 and all the bells and whistles except for a moon room (which I don't like). My 01 was a super vehicle but this one is just unbelievable and it is a flex fuel vehicle. E-85 fuel runs from $1.99 to about $2.70 in the Denver Metro Area. The closest E-85 station is $2.22 per gallon.

I was content with my '04 STX when my salesman called and said I can have a new '07 Super Crew that I original wanted but couldn't afford the payments. With 0% interest on the '07's I can now have want I really wanted.
The mods so far are:
A.R.E. tonneau cover, Lincoln LT handles, OEM 20's with Cooper ATR's, Harley badges, Harley tail light lenses, Harley grill, painted front bumper with fog lamps.
Now, all I have to do is make up my mind about drilling holes in the fenders to mount a set of OEM fender flares I already have.

Hey, this SCrew does that & more!!! I actually got it b/c my Ranger was in the shop and my insurance company gave me a Chevy Silverado Ext. Cab to drive while the Ranger was in the shop. I am a Ford Fan, and honestly I was impressed w/the Chevy & I thought, "hey if Chevy has stepped up to the plate this much, then the Ford F150 must be off the chart! So after pretty much putting down many hours & weeks of research into the '07 F-150, the VERY day that I picked my Ranger up from the shop (it was there for over 2 weeks), I had already signed the paperwork @ the dealership and traded in the 2000 Ranger in ($2500 value) & I financed thru Capital One so that that would be one less thing that the dealership could try and haggle me over (and Cap.1 financed me for a vehicle and sent me a blank check that I could write up to $37,000 for the new vehicle...I was like, "I had BETTER not even come close to spending that much green!!) & I handed them over a check for $22,368.94 completely out the door (plus the Ranger trade-in) for this Beautiful Baby! I am not trying to brag in the least bit, but I still get excited over what I feel was a good deal and that my monthly payments are only $99 more on this F-150 than when I bought the 2000 Ranger used in 2002. What a blessing!
I went the very last week of Oct '07 and they was trying to make room for the 08's and I knew that they were still making a profit off of my buy and told them that this is the price I would pay for the truck & to throw in the black nerf bars, Sirious radio, and that coupon booklet that allows you to pretty much get free oil changes and other maintenace related jobs (4 like up 2 50K or something) or I would be more than happy 2 walk out the door. (Technically besides the size restraints, my Ranger was in excellent condition so it wasn't a situation where I really needed a new ride...I just plain wanted one! LOL).
It's the XLT trim so it's got all the options that pretty much come standard w/it and there is nothing I could really say that they could have added to sweeten the deal that I can't done on the aftermarket for a lesser price. (Oh my goodness! I have gone MOD crazy...somebody please shoot me w/a tranquilizer dart...one big enuff to stop a rhino!!)
My two main complaints are;
1. Cloth material I have heard stains easily, but as of yet (we'll see how long this command lasts!) eating & drinking have been disallowed while traveling...altho w/the drinking if it has a screwable top on it, then I let it slide...but food...HECKS NO!!!
2. As FallingUp mentioned above, I travel a lot from Cols, Ohio to Baltimore, MD. to see a medical specialists a few times a year and this is about a 7 hr trip. I would say that by the 4th-5th hour my glutes are either numb or tingling, and I need to seriously readjust how I'm sitting.
3. I know some peeps complain about the make-up of the console, but to me baby, I'm livin the high life...remember I'm coming from a Ranger (not doggin the ranger, she was my baby, but this is my Baby Monster!!)
Lastly, it is the 3V, V8, 5.4L, 4x4, flex fuel engine & I know that there are alotta complaints about this ride being heavy & sluggish despite its apparent under the hood power. But when I test drove it stock I can only tell you that I was & still am in Heaven.
After much research on here and other forums (you guys are totally AWESOME and provide soooo much info it just blows my mind!) I just ordered my XCAL3 w/custom tunes from Troyer today, and I waited this long, so another 8 weeks, I am not freakin out like I've seen some of my F-150 brethern do while waiting for it. I don't think I'm even going to "waste" my time messing around w/the canned tunes; I'm goin 2 put the XCAL in my drawer and forget about it until that oh so special email arrives in my box in March w/my cust tunes

Some of my other mods are;
-275/45/22 Pirelli Scorpian Asimetrico A/T w/ the Black American Racing Assault Wheels (22x9.5)
-K&N Series 63 Aic and custom made SI/DO exhaust
-2.5" leveling kit (luv how it looks sooo much more!)
-Putco full body chrome kit (I know the chrome isn't everyone's taste, but hey, I'm 25 is this is my first brand new vehicle, so I'm gonna do it all up in every measure that makes me completely happy!)
-Tinted all windows to 30% in front and 15% in rear w/8" eyebrow on windshield
-I also simply got a set of 4 black window deflectors to try and help compliment my black on silver color scheme.
-Had installed the Westin Ultimate Bull Bar (the kind that does not cover your grille)
-I absoulterly HATE having snow, water, debris, beer cans (WTF?! You think you can just walk by in the middle of the night and use my bed as a trash can??) or whatever else in my bed, so I finally went and had my tonneau cover installed! I went w/the Extang Trifecta Tonneau cover, which why I KNOW there are prob higher grade models out there, for the ease of use, stability, and price (and the research that I did online gave 2thumbs up all around for the most part...you know there are haters everywhere) I simply could not pass this up. It fits for the jobs the I will need it for & I am happy w/the purchase
-The WeatherTech (1st & 2nd row) Floorliners. This company and its products are FREAKIN expensive, but I gotta hand it to them, that these floormats are awesomely designed and top of the line. I would recommend these to anyone!!
-RainX Latitude Wiper Blade (also expensive; $40 for the pair) but well worth the cost once again in my opinion. There is absolutely no streaking or residue from any type of precipitation when I turn these suckas on.
-I got the RECON LED Clear 3rd Brake Light installed as well, and all I gotta say is that if you're driving behind me or someone else who has these, you will def know that they are braking, no questions asked!!
Now this upcoming Monday 21st @ my top of the line Truck Body Shop, "Trails West Dist. Inc." (for those of you looking for an excellent place & prices in Ohio & surrouding area, check them out!) I am scheduled to have them add;
1. RECON Clear Cab Roof Lights added (5 bulb set)
2. Westin Large Round Driving Lights 5.75"x2.75" (yeah, I know coulda gone the more expensive route w/these @ only $70 for the pair, but I can always upgrade to a "better" bulb in the future if I so desire to)...
3. Pacer Led 60" Red Tailgate Light Bar
So I should be good and well lighted up at night so that everyone can see my coming from 5miles away, lol!
And that is ALL that she wrote folks...
So maybe get some Katzkins leather interior in the near future which I hear helps to add a lil extra cushioning to the seats. Also have some custom Billet/Tailgate Skull & Crossbones badges being made my billettechnology.com as well as the side "F-150" badges being custom made to have a Skull on saying "F-150; Skullz Edition". Those should be delievered sometime in Feb.
But once again, if you haven't gotten the point already, I absolutely LOVE this 2007 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew, and I thank the Lord above everytime that I drive it that He has blessed me not only spiritually, but also w/some tight material possessions as well!!

Sorry for the novel guys...you can see that my love and enthusiasm very easily get the best of me!
