Add me to the list. Always owned Rangers since 1988. Traded off 7 of them. When I went to do it again this year the deal was better on the 150. Actually less$$,same mileage & more room. Sign me up!! I bought an STX scab. Not optioned up like a lot of you,but it's what I need & has more than any Ranger I ever had. Decided to take it on the family vacation instead of the wifes' Escape. Man it was nice to have the room! Love the truck after 3,500 miles(1,000 from the vacation). Only complaints are what was prev. mentioned-seats & idle.

Well, here it is. My 07 Lariat. So far I love it. After putting 97k repair-free miles on my 02 Tahoe, I decided it was time for a change. It's my first Ford so I hope serves me well.

So far I added the wheels & tires, a 2.5" leveling kit and tinted the windows. A Bedrug and Retrax bed cover go on next Tuesday. I think I'll change out the grill and call it done.

07 Harley

I love it. I've removed the 2 inch blocks from the rear and tinted the front windows.

Having some issues adding pictures. I'll put one up soon.

Finally got activated so I could post. Newbie. Just got my 07 Screw last week. Love it so far. This is the first "NEW" truck I've ever owned. My son is on his 8th Lightning, and I had a Ranger the last 7 years. Ford IS deep in the blood.

New FX2

I bought an 07 FX2 Metallic Redfire 2 weeks ago, I think these FX2s are great looking. Ford was smart to put out a 2wd compliment to the FX4..

Tim,
What's the exhaust set up you have? I was looking to do something similar on mine. ( In the post just above yours).

Hello,

My wife and I took delivery of a 2007 Supercrew the week before last. First truck for the both of us and we are very excited by it.

The purchase came as a result of solving a transportaion problem we have started to encounter.

My other car affliction is driving my other car on race tracks in the NE, namely Watkins Glen. I dont race, yet, but am a regular participant in high performance driving events with diverse driving clubs.

On occasion my wife accompanies me to the Glen, but in a seperate vehicle, as she does not want to to be tied to the race track. She likes to come and go so she can go antiqueing. After my last event, the 4 hour drive back from WGI, the drive got real long, her driving in the van and me driving my track car, communicating via cell phone and hand signals. Misery.

At that point we decided to pursue tow vehicles.

A week later, we owned the F150 and two days after that, a 18 foot open trailer for my car. We got lucky in finding a supercrew in this color this late in the model year.

This solves 2 problems: We can drive to the track and spend quality time together and in the event my car should break, I have a way home.

Since taking delivery, the truck has already provided some unprecedented (for us) utility - weve already hauled mulch, wood, grabage, tables and chairs. No more worrying about messing up the van or being tied to someone else for hauling needs.

Some details:
5.4L 4x4, 3.73 lsd, tow package, chrome package, d-lux mirrors, ford bed liner, truxedo lo pro,

Hi Guys,

Just traded my 98 SCab 4x2 XLT for a 07 supercrew 4x4 Fx4 6.5 bed power driver seat dark charcoal met. tow package, audiofile stereo, P275 tires, Sirius, power slide rear window. Got a good deal $26,000 difference, sticker was about $38,000. Truck rides nice and is QUIET! Sets higher than my 98 SCab but I will get used to it. Love the power slide rear window. Stereo is fantastic and the Sirius is neat too. Also got a Ford bedliner but the dealer was out so it should be in tomorrow. Those Wrangler AT tires ride nice and are pretty quiet. Will post pics when I get them taken.

Bought a 2007 Supercrew XLT last weekend. I had a 2004 F-150 Supercab in black/gold two tone, and traded it in last year on a Honda Pilot (don't ask, lol). Needless to say, I missed my old truck, and decided to get another one! i feel back at home in the F-150! So far no complaints on the truck!

Supercrew.

Picked up my 07 Supercrew XLT a few weeks ago.

I am the Ford Lincoln Mercury Brand Manager for a major manufacturer auto show down in Florida, so I have to drive a Ford. Have been driving Fords since high school.

I LOVE my truck.

Shortly after I took delievery I realized how many trucks just like mine were on the road, so I decided to do some MODs to stand out a little.

So far, only small things: Headlights, Taillights, Fuel Door. Things I can do myself.

Look foward to seeing some of you driving around. If you see me, just honk!

I picked up my 07 Screw KR 4x4 two weeks ago today. I got rid of a 01 Cobra to get it. We are expecting our second child any day, so I just wanted/needed something bigger. Also I got to the point where I hated going to the hardware store and not being able to buy something I wanted because I couldn't fit it in the Cobra or Explorer. My last truck was a 94 F150 4x4 that I got rid of in 97 to get my first Cobra (a 96 Mystic).

I originally went to the dealership to purchase a Ranger with a 4 cylinder engine and a standard stick shift transmission that was rated at 29 mpg on the highway. I figured that with conservative driving habits, I could get over 30 mpg and that a little truck would be easier to park in The City. But the dealer had an F150 parked right next to the Ranger that I wanted, and offered to sell it to me for the same price. Ford had a bunch of rebates that I signed over back to the dealer, and my "out the door" price was exactly the same for either truck. I'm such a sucker. I fell for the "same price, more truck" gimmick. Now I'm stuck with a bigger gas guzzler that gets half the mileage, and I can't find parking for it because of the huge 8 foot bed. Now I'm still in the same boat with spending a billion dollars a week for gas and not being able to find parking. Additionally, I'm doing what every other dork is doing; spending another billion dollars trying to find modifications to get an extra mile out of every gallon of gas. But I love driving it. So that's all that needs to be said. Money well spent because the perceived value is in the pleasure that I receive from being behind the wheel. Now let's see if a "work truck" will get me any tail.
