Well this is my first truck and im loving it. i cant wait to tow my seadoos with it. prior to the truck i been pulling my skis with my 2000 passat.. so this is going to be so nice.. its a 2007 fx2 and i bought it with 20k on it.. clean truck

 

Story behind my truck

Turned 16 on june 29th last year and was told by parents if i could get a truck under 400 a month we could get it (thinking it would never happen) so i talked with fords internet dept here by my house and got my truck $38k sticker for well under that for 398 a month

SO come june 30 i bring the stack of emails down and place them on table in the kitchen before lunch, right infront of parents places so we took a trip down to the good ole ford dealer ship and picked her up


Complaints: paint seems to be a bit soft in some places
dash panels arent lined up right
air conditioning SUCKS


But i love the truck its been right over a year and she got a nice 6 hour hand job on her birthday, well worth the time spent imo, looked like it just rolled off the show room floor.

Absolutely love my truck. Had it a year two days ago and wouldn't trade it for anything. The truck looks sharp ( I have the chrome package) and handles great. I do mostly highway driving between NY and PA and it is a pleasure on the highway!! I just put the new telescopic tow mirrors on it also. This truck made me an F150 owner for life.

 

This truck is still new with 45,000 miles only used to tow a trailer and a boat to Florida where it sat most of its life. Its black and there are no dents or scratches. I like to look at the undercarriage because its just like the rest of the truck. I am considering putting it in a car show just to see what happens. The 5.4 has a lot more power and speed than my 99 superduty V10.

 

I have a 07 XLT 4x2 SCab and love it. Bought it October 2016 after my 97 f150 got totaled. After a month form buying it, I had to replace both front bearings but other than that no problems. I'm getting ready to install a backup camera on the tailgate latch and run it to my Kenwood touch screen radio.

• My only complaints with the truck are no fog lights
• sits too low for me to change oil (I don't like crawling underneath a vehicle resting on a jack stand)
• no tow hooks in the front

This was the predecessor to the 07 f150 I just talked about, This was a 97 with the 4.6 Triton and 4x4 off road package. I would've kept this truck if the guy driving a Nissan Cube didn't hit my rear axle.

 

This is my 3rd ford. the 1st was a 79 Pinto if that counts and the second was a 83 Mustang GLX. I love this body style. It looks better than most newer trucks out there. There is nothing like riding down the road sitting on the big comfy coach for a front seat.
