Just gave mine its first detail today and clay bar treatment. Then it rained.
Oh well, I'll get pics of it after I get it polished and waxed next weekend.
I have had mine for 4 days now, and have ZERO complaints. Rides like a dream, great gas mileage (compared to the 96 Dodge Ram Indy Edition I traded in, which only got 12mpg with 5.9 in it).
I'm a newly converted Ford Fan thanks to my new F150. Next month, we are going to start shopping Expeditions to trade my wife's Trailblazer in on.
Those options are pretty sweet for an XLT. I love the fact the wife's Expedition uses the same "expendables" as the F-150 5.4L (air filter, oil filter, fuel filter, oil, etc...). On the other hand, she loves the Expedition because it's a roomy SUV that hauls a$$.

My '07 is three months old with zero problems to report. No rattles or squeeks like my '05 had. The Expedition has been problem free, but I'm not real happy with the quality of the paint job on the hood and roof.

07 FX2 Sport Blk/Blk leather

Just got the truck a couple of weeks ago fo 26K, but a little pissed about the gas mileage. 13 mpg WTF? I figured it would give me numbers in between the 15 to 19 on the sticker. As soon as I get some good action pics, I will put them up.

Bought a new White '07 XLT SuperCrew for my 61st birthday in June of '07. This is what it looks like as of Feb. 25th '08.

Thumbs up New 07 Lariat SCREW

I apologize and bear with me......

Picked the new screw May 9th. Some irony though, when I ordered my 99 XLT in Sept/Oct 1998 the following occurred: 1) the dealership could not locate the vehicle, as in, it had not been delivered and FORD could not tell them where it was in the country. Finally showed up in Feb 1999 after FORD credit extended my lease for 4 months and hitting my credit report each month. 2) the salesperson was not there (must have been let go or fired) when I took delivery of it. I think I got a good deal at the time (about ~13-14% off MSRP). 3) Truck had 700 miles already on it. They offered me a bedliner, but wanting a Line-X, they gave me a discount. Still felt good about the price. Only excuse we could come up with was a program manager or saleperson in Missouri got hold of it for a month or two.

Back to reality and the 07, had the x-plan number, $500 down payment to order on Mar 2nd, and paid in full for it on April 30th (trying to get the $3000 rebate before it ended). Now the irony repeated: 1) salesperson is no longer with the dealership. 2) Dealership could not locate the vehicle. Dealership said on the 30th it was in the Atlanta rail yard, Tuesday in Birmingham, MO (I thought they meant Birmingham, AL), Wednesday in Shelbyville, KY (again, I thought they meant Shelbyville, TN). I gave them hell on May 3rd explaining they had my money and I had nadda in my hand. 3) Picked it up on May 9th with 58 miles on it (better than 700). FORD plant QA'ed my truck and a window sticker stated that with 48 miles test driven, so 5 due to transportation and parking lot wasn't bad.

Stock details - Lariat, oxford white, 139" base, 5ft bed, tan leather (heated and powered), 6-CD/Sat radio (due to discount, they paid me $200 to take it), sunroof, pwr sliding rear window, pwr pedals, towing pkg, 20" wheels, 3.55 diff, pwr fold side mirrors, bed extender, traction control, reverse sensing system (highly recommended) and garage door opener.

MSRP was $38,315, x-plan was $34,812 and I asked for $33,812 and got it. After rebate, taxes and crap, charge was $33,000. I think and feel good about the price until someone posts better sale in the Atlanta metro area.

I added the Line-X, 5" chrome steps and factory mud flaps (rear flaps are off the lip moldings by ~1/8-1/4"). Adding ventureshield in the morning and plan to add the black sill protectors to 3 remaining doors (2004 protectors in front and 2007 protectors in rear) as performed by rsr1.

"My" positive thoughts between the 99 and 07: 1) ride is more solid, 2) quieter, 3) looks and more/better features, 4) reverse sensing gotta have, 5) sunroof and pwr sliding rear window.

"My" negative thoughts: 1) gas pedal is little touchy, 2) slight lag getting started, 3) 2nd, 3rd and 4th shifts feel stiffer, 4) MP3/Aux input on top of dash is riduculous. Leave IPOD in hot sun, possible sliding around dash, rips cable and heads to best buy for new one. Additionally, most devices do not come with right angle cable plug to reduce unsightly cable coming from dash. 5) Grill attached to hood is flimsy (don't see the value here), 6) no factory mud flaps

Overall, I am very pleased and hope they worked all the kinks out in the 07 model from 04 till now.

Is there a posting to track all the 07 issues? My 99 had piston slap (5.4 engine replaced), phantom wiper, #4 coil replaced 2-3 times, cruise control recall and harmonic vibration exactly between 65-70mph...oh and forgot about the 3rd to 4th gear vibration fixed with transmission fluid change (3 times).

Proud new owner of a 2007 F150 XLT SuperCrew 4x4 with 5.5' bed, 5.4L V8 and 3.73LS gears. Getting a Z series ARE cap and running boards installed on Friday. This is my 3rd Ford truck. Traded-in a 2001 F150 Lariat Supercab 4x4. We needed additional interior room and wanted a newer vehicle. Couldn't pass up the cash back, 0%/60 month financing, and X-plan eligibility. Very please with the new ride.

Here is a pic:

I just bought a 2007 screw and love it. i dont really have any flaws with it other than:

1. The rear seats could stand to have a few a/c vents in the head liner
2. A Full size 8' foot bed would be nice.

Factory:
XLT Screw with XLT Chrome Package
Keypad entry
6CD + Sirius
Bed Extender w/ bed mat
2 Tone Paint

Current additions:
K&N airfilter
Weathertech floor liners
Sprayin bedliner

I originally was looking to get a Tacoma or a Frontier, but they weren't willing to negotiate aggressively on the Taco and the cup holders sucked and it rode a bit stiff. The Frontier's interior wasn't comfortable and it had the fuel economy of a fullsize truck. So I decided to test drive an F150 and I fell in love. I liked the smooth ride, Ford toughness, the room - oh the room. My kids could group up to be giants and they still couldn't kick the back of my seat. I wasn't planning to buy until the end of the year, but I called the dealer at the end of the month and low balled him at 22.5K. I got it for $22.7k + TTL because of the keypad. At that price I couldn't pass it up.

I like the truck a lot. My gripes as posted elsewhere is the funny noise coming from the intake area at 1.25-1.75 kRPMs during accelration and the AC drip line dripping on the exhaust. The premium cloth seems not so premium, but as long as it keeps clean and doesn't stretch/sag I'm ok. Gas mileage is a bummer, but I knew about it coming in. Lag in acceleration sucks, but it's not a race car so I drive it like a Cadillac anyway. The floor mats in the rear are a freak'n joke - in fact I'm almost positive that they belong in the rear of a Focus as my sister in law has that car.

I bought a Lariat supercrew last month and love it. I can't decide whether or not I want to purchase the navigation system for it now. I think the touch screens are cool looking, but don't know if they are worth the money.

White Sand
Black Leather
Audiophile
Sirius
heated seats/adjustable pedals
