it's been on a couple weeks now, I'm still on the FMU and traction is an issue but it pulls hard thru the gears so well that the 'ole supercab will hang with my buddies' semi-stock lightning

just curious how the low end take off is compared to the harley with the P/D blower?

 

the ATI doesn't have the instant torque surge as the eaton but it pulls harder from 2500rpms all the way on up, I'm sure the Lariat pull past the Harley in the 1/4, got to get a weekend off so I can race my wife

if it helps anyones decision on which way to go, I prefer the ATI over the eaton

 

with the new the bypass valve it pulls off the line really similar to the eaton @ 6psi

 

just to update, I managed to get a MAD's intake and 3# crank pulley.

can't wait to see how it does on the dyno, when I get it tuned on the #42 injectors and 90mm MAF

 

Keep us posted on the intake! What by-pass valve did you go with, the stocker seems to be very inconsistant and is starting to bug me. Thanks for any info

 

what kinda sound are u gettin outa this blower? is it a whine or a whistle or what?

 

It's a Centrifugal Supercharger, they whistle, a roots/twin screw whines.

 

sounds alot like a turbo, but the sound comes from under the hood, instead of out the exhaust.

 

at idle it sounds like a turbo, under boost it's "silent"

I'm also getting a low restriction intake made so a couple people can try it out and then we'll get another one on the market (but I'm still gonna be running the MAD's setup and the HPS intake manifold)

with all these original pieces on my 16 valve I'm gonna have to buy another truck to swap in the 32 valve 5.4 sine the 'ole green truck will be an irreplacable piece of history
