13 psi...maybe. I run a Mad intake, a 3# pulley, and a 3-core IC and in good weather I saw 12.7 - 13.2 psi peak with stock manifolds. Now it's around 11 psi with the full lengths.

is your stock bypass valve leaking boost? I'm seeing 9 - 9.5 on the guage with the stock crank pulley and a 3.70 upper.

Nope. Did some work on mine and even swapping nice Vortech valve there is no difference. The stock head unit pulley should be a 3.70 for the 8 - 9 psi kits and 3.40 for the 12# setups. I saw a little over 9 psi with the 3.70 pulley and Mad's intake.

the truck is still running the baseline ATI kit and fmu

it'll be a couple months before I get it hooked up - it's in climate controlled storage in Texas amd I'm in Germany right now

I can't wait to see how it runs after the upgrades and dyno tune

then it'll be time to swap out engines with the built one and crank up the boost

Swap the P1-SC for a D1 head unit and look for an 8-rib pulley setup. You can only crank that P1-SC so far with 6-rib belts.

I am considering a F1 head unit but I think the D1 would be abetter choice for street use

F1 would need some heavy brackets, a serious drive belt, and a lot more room. D1's plenty of blower.

sal had those same issues with his F1 and he eventually gave it up and went turbo, the F1 bolts directly in the p1 and D1 location and tubing. The F1 wil have the ability to make more power on the top end but the draw backs are greater than it's worth I think.

I agree the D1 seems ot be the best head unit for street/strip use.

does anybody know what size head pulley I would need run to achieve 20+ psi using the MAD crank pulley, stage 2 heads and cam with long tubes???

20 psi ? This is serious!!

You might consider increasing the crank pulley at this point.

I agree with ONELOWF, at 20 PSI your talking a pretty small pulley up top, that's if you can get one small enough to huff that much PSI.Could be major slippage issues. I would look into a bigger lower.

I agree with you guys. I think I am going to have to get another crank pulley made the extra idlers will help some of the belt slip but eventually I will reach the max capabilities of the belt drive system. and that will limit the HP/TQ/Performance of the Procharger. My next project will be a turbo.

This project is in a parts collection phase again
