I installed all the LED upgrades and am working on a fan array to keep the amps cool in the summer or under high output situations. The fans are out of a cisco server. they are normally stacked to produce 50 cfm. I took them apart and made one row of 10 to blow under and around the amps. I soldered all the wires and used shoe goo to insulate the staggered connections. I'm just waiting on a speed controller. These things are insane. They start up at a slow speed to warm up then go full bore at a combine rate of 250 cfm. Mind you the fans are 1 1/8 inches accross.

I replaced all interior and exterior white bulbs to 6000k LEDS. It makes a huge difference!

I love the fan idea! Are those LEDs that blue or is it just the camera?

Ok, I figured they were. Darren's 6Ks came out like that in a pic too. My 5Ks are super white, so the 6K should (and is) very white as well.

Yeppers, they don't go blue till 8k. The fan speed controller came in and I bench tested the fans with it. It's nice to know the fans will be operating at 25%. They should last a while. FYI, I do have extra's of the fans and the backside fan to the 10 I'm using now. If you need some PM me. On another note, I got the passenger power seat track and I am waiting on the lumbar support to come in so I can hook up the front passenger seat. The seat track got painted matt black and looks close to brand new. The plastics came with it and that is cleaned up and painted and looking new.

My little amp does overheat from time to time, somewhat randomly under moderate use, but not so under some heavier use. But I've got the power turned down on it and only listen to country, so it only overheats every few months, otherwise I'd be all over them fans and rip your little design off too!

That's pretty cool that you can add lumbar and the power track to the seats! What's involved with adding an electric lumbar? That metal seat track does look really good. Your truck started off life as an XLT, right?

Yes, My truck started life as a XLT. DGMotorsports and I have massaged this into what it has become. The Lumbar support is manual with the spin type **** on the side of the seat. The factory parts are ordered to make the passenger side have that option. It involves pulling the seat apart and installing the parts and hopefully not screwing it up..lol I will post pics when I'm done. If you need some fans I have them. I would use them anyway. The cooler the amps run generally the longer they will last and the cleaner the sound. My audio set up has been tested now and the sound Q is great. You can here everything, not just Boom Boom. The other day when I was working on some adjustments, My lady said she could here it clear as a bell in the house. That being said, THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!! ROTFLMAO!
