Well if you look up to me be careful. I have no idea what I'm doing and wing it every time.
I have never done any of this stuff before and hope my truck still works each time I screw with it. I am a Marine also known as U.S.M.C. also known as Uncle Sam's Misguided Children. Either way I'm Damn proud to be one And it was my pleasure serving this country!

So with all that said, I'm gonna be working on the truck this weekend "back permitting".
I want to finish up the fan install and get that passenger power seat conversion done. Who know's, the truck may even continue working when I'm done...lol

Political views... Constitution rules us all and is not to messed with. Liberalism spawns entitlement, higher taxes and higher debt. Sloth negates liberty, Equal rights and freedoms is a joke IE why does each state have different laws then the others... We do not all have the same freedoms and rights. which contradicts the constitution.

It was a vague "looking up to." Not sure that I plan on walking on the heels of yer boots and do as you do Just take the half-joking compliment dammit! Haha

California is the worst state to live in for rights and freedoms, so I agree. Maybe NY can compete, and Joizie is right behind them, eager to catch up.

You're welcome, man. Thanks for the same! Most of the stuff I do is the first time I've done them!

So I got off a bit early today. I installed my new 3rd brake light. I didn't need the cargo lights any more and found a all brake light at a good price. It has 3 x 912 20 SMD bulbs. It should help in the Not getting rearended category...lol

That's pretty neat! I don't know that I've ever seen an all-brake light

It only had a opening for the center brake light. The two outside spots were just solid plastic. I used a dremel to cut on the socket oenings. Then Cut and capped the cargo lights and did a 3 way for the brake lights and installed 20 SMD LED 912 bulbs. Looks good and bright at night. I will have to take a night pic to show you. Today I'm going to install and test the new Bosch high output 235 amp alternator. Last weekend when I had the stereo going it was dropping below 12 volts at high volume. This should remedy that and give me better sound as it will maintain the voltage as it delivers a extra 110 amps. I've had to slow down a bit because lately I have a ice pick sticking out of my lower back. Gotta power through, just a lil slower.

I wonder why they wouldn't have just left those holes there for exactly that purpose. Good job fabricating! 235 is quite a lot! Almost double. I can't wait until I get older and my already bad back deteriorates . . .

I got the new high output alternator and the amp cooling fans in today. Both turned out just about perfect. The variable speed controller is neatly hidden away out of site. The alternator was tested with two testers. The voltage was perfect and my A.W. Sperry clamp test showed 152 amps at idle. Sounds like she's working good and enjoying her new home...lol

I need me one of those alternators for my sundown, but I'm just going to sell it and downgrade.

Why the hell would you do that? Haha

I want my alternator to go out so I can put a better one in, and I don't even need one A moderate system, 4 offroad lights, and 2 reverse lights could probably use a bit more, but I haven't had any issues.

You got that thing for like 1/3 the price too @ $225

they do, but I hardly ever turn my radio up and "beat down the block". I already have big 3 done and a optima yellowtop in the back and with my gains set conservatively I see 12.8-13v at almost full tilt. I bought me a RF 1200 amp at christmas so I can replace the huge sundown 3000d I've had for years now. I really do not want to get rid of it, but it'll help clear up some money and give me some more space in the back.

Back when I had the 18" BTL
