Crappy weather today. Been out looking at the new shoes. I just called the tire joint because I want a little wider tire. so they just ordered 295/40/20's for me with no grief. I've rolled an entire 1 mile on these and the side walls have been bugging me. I like a blocked side wall with no stretch. Hard earned money means get exactly what you want and don't settle. The pics show the width issue I'm having. The tread is not as wide as the rim.

They were as wide as the last ones on a 10" rim too, weren't they? Less sidewall though, so that's probably why.

Got the even newer shoes today. 295/40/20 Toyo Proxie ST II's. Looks a crap load better.
Had the alignment checked to be sure and it is dialed in. All in all a good day!

Got a couple of pics today. People have asked what the new tires look like from
the back. Just happened to catch a bit of the pearl in one of them. Still waiting of the custom seat covers. Shouldn't be to much longer... getting anxious.

I'm in the process of another audio revamp. I didn't like the way the current one was sounding. I have picky ears and have done competitions in the past. I just received my new amps and bass ****. I went back to my original set up from back in the day with just newer versions. Rockford Fosgate P1000x1bd on the lows and a Rockford Fosgate P600x4 to handle mids and highs.
Both birth sheets are impressive and am looking forward to hearing these things get down. I may be replacing subs so the Ohms works with the amp better. I will decide once I hear these with the new amps. Keep in mind the numbers at the bottum right of the birth sheets is the rated RMS power, not max.

Cleaned up the wheel wells, repainted everything and reworked the spindles and made custom dust caps to shorten things up so the
wheel center caps would fit.
