The truck went to the paint shop Monday to get the scratch in the bumper fixed. (wind storm blew a big piece if sheet metal on it) and a small bubble on the drivers door. Today the door is fixed and the bumper is in the booth. I'm trying to talk my buddy with a slammed Harley to go into a last minute show this weekend. Kevin that owns the shop has had 3 people at the shop looking at my paint wanting their new cars painted my color. Kevin Told them it was my custom color and would have to ask me for the paint code...lmao Theres no way in hell I'm giving that up...hahaha

So on a last minute notice.( I found out Thursday) I went to a cruise and car show yesterday and car show today. Got sun burnt, had a great time, shut down a mouthy girl that said some crazy twack garbage and won my class t-9 Modified truck 56 and newer. Competition was steep but somehow won. I'm honored and very proud to be recognized! Today was a good Day!

Also got invited to 2 more shows. 1 in June and 1 in August, on top of the one in two weeks.... Good Day!

That's pretty freakin cool man. I'm glad others are getting to enjoy all of your hard work (and money) that's gone into the truck. Then winning prizes don't hurt neither!

^+1! Its great to finally see all of your hard work on this truck come to fruition brother! I've got a feeling that this is probably just the first of many awards to come your way with this gorgeous F150. The personal satisfaction has got to be even greater though. I mean, heck, you even made a grand exit with very fitting music! LOL! Extremely happy for ya man!

Thanks Fellas. I've been so freakin busy. Work, Work and more work. This weekend I'm back at it, spit shining her for the next show on the 17th. This truck has been a work in progress for 13 years and pretty intense the last 9 months. This area heavy favors the old classics and to pull this one out felt kickass.

Hand polished all the glass. 13 years of hard water stains was a beez to get off. It took about 6 hours of razor blades, steel wool and glass polish. Now the glass looks brand new.

Well it's been a busy week. I spent all day Thursday spit shining for the Friday and Saturday car show. (Hot O Rama) Put in about 28 hours over two days, which means sunday I was lazy and drank ****tails cause I got fried in the sun. I got a few die hard Chevy old timers that complimented the truck and a photographer that took a bunch of pics and sent me copies. I ended up wining my class of modern modified truck 82 to present. They gave the speech at the end of the night and confessed to not having a plaque for that division as it got missed out of the 50 or so classes. Either way I was honored to win and did not mind, I told them not to worry about it. The people that were there know and that is good enough for me. A lot of stiff competition and made friends with the guy I won against at the May Madness show and a bunch of others. All Car/ Truck Guys with a host of knowledge to share. Mike ( the car show guy) and I are gonna go to the next one at Rolling Hills Casino together and do like the last one...Drink beer and chill, answer questions as they come up. Nice guy too. So here's a few of the pics the photographer sent me today, She was a very nice lady and had what appeared to be a expensive camera...lol Good Tmes!

Are those wheels meant for BMW's by chance? There's a 7 series near me it it appears to have those wheels too.

Working on an Idea for the underside of the tonneau cover. I wand to redo the seal and clean it up. I want to carpet the cover with a insert to dress it up. I ordered the insert today. I will post pics when I get it done. Here's a pic of the insert I'm gonna be working with. Not sure If I want to keep it square to the cover or angled. I will play with it, any Ideas?
