New mods
So with this large audio upgrade the power cables must be upgraded as well as the grounds. I found that the alternator charge wire to be greatly undersized at 8 gauge. That has been bumped to 4 awg and the main stereo power is at 0 awg. New grounds too. My side kick was a great help today. It was about 25 degrees with wind. I had her warm my hands up every so often...lol

I am fortunate. My kids are grown and gone and I have managed my bills in such a way that I can go the extra mile to a extent. We also breed yorkies and soon rotties too. It all helps. That and my truck was gone for so long I was able to stock pile projects. I want to get better pics and update my Sig but won't drive my truck till she is back together.
Thanks AZ! Your ride is looking sick too.

Got some more stuff done today. 0 gauge primary power and ground. 4 gauge to the sub amp and 8 gauge to the mid's and high's amp. Relay wired in for the amps and Cap remote line with a future added in in case I decide to install some fans later. The fuse is a 250 amp. The distribution blocks are EFX. Starting to come together....slowly but surely.

For those of you that want to install your own stuff here is a web site that will help you with power cable and speaker wire sizes and their capacities.
Hope this helps someone out. As far as I know I was one of the first to install subs behind the seats of a supercrew 12 years ago. It is challenging
but well worth it in the end. I have had stuff together then ripped apart more than once trying to engineer how it all goes together with the limited space
our trucks have. I know it's not perfect but nothing ever is truely perfect. Hell I'm trying though...lmao

Your system has certainly become pretty complex! I need to get new door speakers that can handle more when mine blow and get an amp on them. Yours must sound pretty killer, huh?

I haven't heard it yet, but with what I have going in it should sound pretty damn good. I'm waiting on an other member to send my some carpet and stuff so I can finish up the seats. I have been waiting on installing the rear door panels so it gives me more room when I start on the rear seats.
Pretty much. I keep coming up with more stuff I want to do. She is my hobby and keeps this Marine out of trouble. I post everything I do hoping that someone will use the information and save themselves some heartburn.

LOL! Definitely a well thought out and meticulous install! Cheers bro!
