i'm subscribing just because this build thread is awesome, i wish i could have the flexibility of airbags on my 4x4 without a actual lift and not do damage to my cv's, but i only know so little and have next to nothing to spend

will you keep the stock wheel+tire combo once your laying running board?

For now the tires will do. I have no intentions of changing the rims OEM FTW!

So I was chasing a leak for a couple of days this week..troubleshooted everything and ended up with my tank being the culprit. I pulled the tank and took it to my welder and he patched it up for me..I got home last night and put it back together and the tank wouldn't build air pressure even though both compressors were running..I finally put a milton male adapter on my drain valve and filled up the tank with my air compressor in the garage. After troubleshooting all morning I finally realized that the check valve attached to the compressor was checking air in both directions...I found that one compressor can fill the truck up when the pressure is 85psi and above but below that it just doesn't work. I've been meaning to order some check valves because whenever I drain the tank (or there's a leak) the bags also leak.. So I will be putting two check valves in between the tank and the valve block..I also ordered some exhaust mufflers so I can silently drop

While I was at the welders last night he told me his plans for the back. He's going to move the bags to right inside the frame and make new mounts on the top and mount the bottom to the airbar. He's going to notch the frame as high as possible without cutting the bed and cut out the spacer for the carrier bearing. I would love to switch to a watts link but will be sticking with the pan hard bar for now. He's going to adjust that so it doesn't pull the axle of far over when aired out. Hopefully this happens before winter...

Before that happens I need to trim my fender flares and possibly the fender lip..any advice on the best way to do this would be helpful.

I've been wanting to replumb the system with uniform all brass fittings and do away with plastic ones that ride tech included. I'm switching to all 3/8 line with Parker fittings. I didn't order water traps yet, I will be putting two in eventually between the compressors and the tank. I already have about 30ft of 3/8 line so I should be set. Like I mentioned earlier, I ordered 3 check valves and 2 exhaust mufflers earlier today.

8ea.- 3/8" Tube to 3/8" NPT Prestomatic Male Connector
1ea.- 25FT of 3/8" Parflex DOT Air Brake Tubing
2ea.- 3/8" Tube to 3/8" NPT Prestomatic Male 90* Swivel
1ea.- 3/8" to 1/8" Reducer Bushing
1ea.- 1/8" NPT Schrader Valve
10ea.- 3/8" Zinc Plated Steel Loop Clamp
2ea.- 3/8" Male Branch Tee
1ea.- Airline Cutter (Small)

Fyi I used hydraulic line instead of brass line a lot easier then also your fittings are pressed on to the hydraulic line might be something to look into

I'll look into that but I'm not using brass lines. Just the par flex plastic line

so you just screw the (3/8"?) hydraulic hose directly to the valves/bags valves/tank?!
