ART King Ranch build thread
I try not to think about it but I would say probably 5-6k so far and its far from where I want it
(sitting in the running boards)
well Travis and I got the modified arms on tonight...I was wrong, I can't drop near as low as before. I'll get some pics tomorrow after the alignment. I can go higher than a stock 4x4 now lol...I'm on the hunt for some stock control arms now.
well I made this thread stating my intentions and nobody gave me that advice...I have a pretty badass welder so he will give me want I want eventually...
thanks bro...little update for you..I decided to go back for one more semester to get a Maritime Administration business minor..only 4 more classes and I'll be done in December. They offer a Masters now for that so I may do that some day..

Need to have another meet soon. Wanna see the kr this time
the plans now are to find some stock control arms and use those and if my welder is ever free, relocate the bags and notch my frame so I can get some drop in the rear.
I'm down!
and here are the pics of my mistake (mounting the strut higher)
this is aired out

max air..lots of lift lol

Sucks it didnt work out. I suggest going with the stock control arms then removing the inner fender liners, and possibly the entire inner fender with a custom one re welded in. Also an option would be to use the 04-08 belltech drop spindle we were talking about before but swap in the 04-08 rotors and calipers so they work.

I'm going to talk to the welder soon and see about doing away with the air struts
