My attempt on making a sub box
Well here is the sub box im going to attempt to make for my 97 F150 single cab. im putting a kicker shallow mount CVT 10in in it. Hopefully it all works out.
i got bored and decided to draw something out. lol ill post pics tommorow when its all done. If anyone has any tricks on how to build one, please post them because this is my first one

just be sure to use mdf (preferably 3/4), and build the box to the sub's specs for airspace... also be sure to seal the crap out of it with liquid nails. i prefer to use a nail gun...i got a cheapy one at harbor freight and it works well... other than that, just be very precise on your cuts...if you have a table saw, that would be easiest as well.

I try to use brackets along the edges, making sure not to go into the box.

A good calculation system to use can be found here:

Also make sure you consider the sub displacement which would take away form your overall air space.
