Hey Brew,

Called the local meieke and flow 40 si/do installed is $350, not bad a bad price I think!! Gonna scope it out, let you know how I made out.

well I beat you to the reply. Had exhaust done and it sounds awesome. I also had them piped straight out the back. Gotta buy tips though no big deal. Thanks for steering me towards the 40.

Glad you got to get ur exhaust done.. I have the 40 series on mine and love it... I did my pipes out the corners, because when towing, I dont want throw **** on the boat or trailer.....

I dont really do any towing so theres no prob there. I just need to get stainless tips tomorrow. Meineke was great, custom install with all mandral bent tubes for $350. I laughed cause Midas wanted $725 with ez bend pipes and in that price $265 was the muffler alone ( I asked the guy if it was gold plated). Ill put some pics up tomorrow when it stops raining!!!!!!! Has a nice grumble at start-up too.

Sweet man, glad you got it done and glad you like it. The 40 sounds awesome. Sorry I missed this yesterday, I actually had a little work to do..LOL

Where are you getting the tips from? Are you gonna have them welded on or clamped on?

Gonna look around today. Im gonna check pep boys and autozone to see if they have good quality stainless if not im goin to try the pro shop by me. If all else fails ill order them online. Ill put the pics in my gallery of the install.

Wish I could but I need regular windshield for my warning lights ( you know wacker volunteer) I never really cared for the tint thing as long as rear windows were tinted thats fine with me. Looked for the tips today gotta go online to get them no one has them around here.

I Love the Tint!!! U cannot get ur front two windows tinted with the blue lights???

I could tint the fronts but it does interfere with the blue light color and brightness. PLus the cops are picky around by me about tinted windows especially the front.

That sucks then...... Now that you got the exhaust done, u got get the air intake on the truck and the XCal2....

Exhaus tis done waiting on the tips to come from summit racing. As for the tuner and intake gotta get more cash flow. I spent enough for now, I think the my other half is gonna bury me in the back yard I prob will only do my electrical workm on the truck like my strobes and other lights and will get the intake and tuner prob in the spring.

Yep got em, got the wrong ones, waiting on the correct ones I BOUGHT DOUBLE WALL INSTEAAD OF SINGLE WALL TIPS so they wont fit unless I cut the pipes back so im exchaned em for single walls, Love the sound though
